Had an amazing time. I took my twins out to eat after a long day of running errands. My daughter suggested tacos and I immediately knew where we were going. The food is always good with large portions and our server was wonderful. Would recommend to each and every friend.

Had lunch with friends on Saturday. Had to wait because we got there at 12:30, but they didn't open until 1pm. It was fine because there are shops and the wharf there, so we entertained ourselves. Lunch was nice and the drinks were better (especially loved the sangria). Pork burrito had 80% meat and a little rice. No sauce or sides with it, but was very filling. Parking was close, free and plentiful.

Honestly really disappointed with our experience. My husband and I just wanted a quick bite and order the sampler starter. We were told they were out of wings which was fine whatever but when the tray came out it had 3 undercooked onion rings 7 undercooked poppers quesadilla that was cold and guac that was just old and nasty. It was also missing the tacos which was the only reason we ordered it. We waited a really long time for our server to check on us which lead to us getting even more upset. She was very sweet once I got up and got her attention.
She brought out 3 full sized tacos which was nice.
Anyway, the food was awful (except the queso and chips) Or maybe I wasn't drunk enough to experience it the right way🤷🏼♀️

This is by far one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Everything tasted like it was bought frozen and put in the air fryer. I’m literally not convinced there’s even a kitchen in the back or a proper chef. I got the “Mexican” sampler which came with guac, queso, wings, tacos, cheese quesadillas, and jalapeño poppers. Literally EVERYTHING tasted like it was store bought. Nothing was fresh, not even the cut up onions or tomatoes. Even the guac was store bought(definitely Sabra from the taste and texture)which is absolutely DIABOLICAL for a Mexican restaurant. To top everything off, we were given a literal aluminum pizza tray to eat off of. You could barely cut because the thing kept spinning around. I truly don’t know how this place has such good reviews. The only reason you’re getting 2 stars, is because of the phenomenal service and staff. Would not even recommend to a homeless person.

I've been here a couple of times and each time has been a success. Food is great, crowd is friendly, staff are professional and courteous. If you're in the area, stop by for good Mexican food.

What a major disappointment. I frequent mill street often during the summer time & always walk past the Cantina. My fiancée and I decided to stop in on a BEAUTIFUL Saturday evening. We were confused on why there was so many open tables when they had a concert at the warf with thousands of people. The staff was nice and on point… Anywho, we ordered our food & I can’t explain how underwhelming it was. I got the steak fajitas and my fiancée got the chicken fajitas. My steak was so tough I couldn’t even bite through it. All the food was so bland tasting and overall 100% underwhelming. Seems like everyone sits outside so it appears to be a “happening spot”. Typically I would assume it was an “off-day” but all those empty tables spoke volumes after my meal. I generally don’t complain, I’m very understanding and open minded, however, everything was just bad! It’s an absolutely phenomenal location, they have potential to corner the market but there is something wrong with the ownership.
0/10 recommend, would never return.

Amazing little corner spot! Inside and outside seating. The food is phenomenal and the service is great too! I dined solo this time but often bring my kids and hubs! It’s family friendly yet lively for adult entertainment too. Atmosphere is inviting and authentic, beautiful decor inside - it’s a whole vibe!
Highly recommend the guacamole and nachos!

My friend and I went for an early dinner, we both got tacos which were all delicious, street corn was amazing, the salsas were great, and queso was good, however the house guac was so salty and spicy it was inedible and we got there during happy hour and asked about having happy hour drinks and then asked for margaritas assuming we were going to get happy hour prices since margaritas was on the happy hour options, the server was super nice, but apparently didn't realize about a menu change so then our margaritas were not happy hour priced, so we had to each pay more than expected which was not very happy about that, but would go back for the food alone and the outside seating is so nice with the view of the water.

Food and drinks were delicious. Get the Birra quesadillas. It was our servers recommendation and do not fail. Mia was amazing and so sweet.

This was genuinely the worst dining experience ever. Our waitress made it a point not to make eye contact with me once during the entire meal. I don’t believe I did anything wrong but her behavior left me feeling uncomfortable. She seemed rushed to take our order, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, with only three occupied tables during a Saturday lunch (not a good sign). While she made eye contact with the rest of my family, she avoided looking at me entirely, which left me puzzled and feeling severely self-conscious.
The menu had no vegetarian options whatsoever, so I ordered the appetizer nachos as an entrée, asking them to hold the meat. This seemed fine at first since the menu listed roasted corn and beans as part of the dish. However, when my order arrived, I was shocked to find just three kernels of corn (not an exaggeration) and NO beans at all! How does that happen? The rest of the plate consisted of plain chips, a mound of jalapeños, and cheap American cheese mixed with sour cream. It was a disappointment, especially since we had already been served chips and salsa before the meal.
Meanwhile, our server spent most of her time laughing with her friends, ignoring us entirely. The bartender was equally disengaged, focused on changing the TV channel to his preference rather than paying attention to the guests, including a man sitting alone at the bar.
To make matters worse, the music was blaring full-volume RAVE music. In a Mexican restaurant? It was hard to focus on anything, adding to the discomfort.
By the end of the meal, I had barely touched my food, and for the first time ever, I almost didn’t ask for a to-go box. Ultimately, I did, because I hate wasting food, but we left feeling disgusted.
I would NEVER eat here again and would NOT recommend it to anyone!

I was looking forward to trying this place since we were in the area. It wasn't crowded inside for a Sunday afternoon. The hostess then informed us that the kitchen ran out of food and they couldn't seat anymore people. I have never heard of this before so we went over to El Limon instead.
The white peach margarita was delicious. The food was not flavorful, did they let the old chef go??? what they called pico de gallo was nothing but mushy chopped tomatoes. The service is nothing too write home about either. Left unsatisfied. Won't be back.

Excellent margaritas (we got the cucumber jalapeño ones) and tacos (we got the shrimp and fish ones)! Complimentary chips and salsa was also served and everything tasted fresh and homemade! Will definitely be back.
