Chestnuthill Star Diner Reviews
Just ordered breakfast for the first time. We always pass the diner but have never eaten there. Well, we found our new favorite place! Delicious, fresh, and a great presentation even via a delivery service.
It’s an old school diner food that I sure remember growing up!!! The food was fantastic and the Staff Sally, Nelly and Oz the owner were the best 🙌🙌🥰they sure made my birthday brunch the best ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Was passing thru and stopped by for dinner tonight. Our waitress, Kate, was extremely friendly, and very good, upbeat, we were pleasantly surprised at the fantastic service.
Our food was delicious, timing was perfect. I don’t usually write reviews but we had such a great experience I had to share.
Again kudos to Kate! She’s awesome. Will visit again when passing.

Chestnuthill Star Diner serves delicious food, including cheeseburgers with bacon and crispy fries. The diner offers hearty portions and reasonably priced meals that come with bread, soup or salad, and desserts. Under new management, the atmosphere has become warmer and more inviting. The food and daily specials are excellent, with prices that are very reasonable. The service remains friendly and attentive, with waitresses providing great customer service with a smile. Recent visitors have praised the cleanliness of the diner and the staff's friendliness. Highlights include on-site cheesecake made by Jane, who offers six different types. Breakfast options like blueberry pancakes, biscuits & gravy, and omelettes continue to receive positive reviews for their quality and value. The grilled Reuben with corned beef, seasoned fries, and the cream spinach with a shrimp and bacon salad are especially enjoyed. However, some seating benches are wooden and become uncomfortable after a while, and the carrot cake, while very good, was seen as frozen and prepackaged. The BLT club was decent but could use more bacon and better ripe tomatoes. Overall, the diner is a great spot for good eats and friendly service, though the exterior may need some maintenance.
