This used to be the best diner 5 years ago. The food is horrible here now and got me sick. Meat tasted old. Had to throw out the whole burger. Don’t waste your money here.

My family and I come here once in a while for their waffles and we wanted to celebrate our father . We ordered 3 waffles. When they came, only one waffle was lukewarm, the rest of our food was cold and didn’t taste good. We tried to tell the waiter … her exact response “Oh it’s cold, I’m sorry I don’t know what to tell you I’m sorry , it’s fall season now , I used to have a restaurant myself and I understand. I also don’t have the best cook on right now “ A retired restaurant owner gives out cold food to their customer. You don’t know what to tell me ? Take the dang plate back then and remake it . Best cook? Well help him out and tell him what’s wrong with the plate so he doesn’t mess up in the future. As we are owners of a restaurant ourselves , we didn’t say anything as we aren’t from this town just visiting family but the audacity . Don’t say anything at all. After she went to the server with the long blond braid and cherry lipstick to talk about us complaining about COLD BREAKFAST FOOD, so she can play victim. Ruined her tip for sure because you’re a grown woman who had a “food business “ right? Not coming back.

I live in town. $9 for a Taylor ham egg and cheese?? $9? It’s small and we live in the middle of nowhere. Where do you get off charging $9? Even NYC doesn’t charge that much. Highway robbery, I’ll change my review when you lower the price. What a joke

The diner is under new management and ownership. The new owners have dressed it up to give you a very warm atmosphere. The food and daily specials are excellent. The prices are very reasonable. And the service is great. And if you like cheesecake it’s made on site by Jane. She always has six different types of cheesecake.

Nice, solid diner food. Booth benches were wooden with no padding and became uncomfortable. Service was good, nice waitress, but we waited uncomfortably long for the check. Carrot cake was very good but was obviously frozen, prepackaged. Grilled Reuben with corned beef sandwich was excellent, also offered with pastrami or turkey. Seasoned fries also good. BLT club was below average but still decent. Could've used more bacon and the tomatoes were not fully ripe... considering it's August, the tomatoes should have been better. Also, $3 to add avocado to the sandwich was excessive. We'd definitely visit again, but wouldn't go out of our way.
