I'm currently serving in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. It has been a tough drill weekend so far because two of my best mentors/friends are leaving my unit. Today I was feeling a little down, but then I stopped by this Rita's location on my way home. The server Rachel, seeing me in uniform, gave me my Blendini for free. This truely made my day better. I live down the street and have been to this Rita’s multiple times and never had an issue. The staff is always sweet and obviously work hard. However, I highly recommend not ordering the ice cream sandwiches… they are made ahead of time, which is odd to me. If you can put custard on a cone, you can put it on a cookie. It was so extremely hard that both my husband and I could not physically bite it. After it did thaw enough to be eaten, it had an odd mint taste with certain...

Love this place! I’ve never had any issues here and this is basically my childhood water ice spot. The employees could be a bit better but the water ice here is SO good. Definitely recommend the Swedish fish gelati with vanilla custard, it’s my favorite as of right now.
