When I arrived there for a pickup I'm greeted by a lovely older woman and I waited around until my order was ready, they weren't slammed they were about 60% capacity, I got my to go order which consisted of cream chip beef over home fries I asked for rye toast with butter which had absolutely no butter on it, the home fries were just cubed potatoes that were cooked so long that there was no potato content in them anymore just a shell, my Scrapple resembled precooked scrapple that was laid to the side for lunch rush and then recooked again per order, it was very dry and chewy I wound up throwing it out, sadly entire experience was mediocre at best as an extra restaurant owner I hate to give bad reviews but I also like to be fair so that the owner can get real feedback so that they can fix the things that need attention. If you're a big cream chip beef or biscuits and gravy person that loves it from scratch visit the white horse election at the Amish to make everything from scratch another great place is the Morgantown coffee House they don't have a menu because their menu changes on what's available and fresh.

1st time here & won’t be the last! 🫶🏼👏👏 Besides it being Celiac safe, the food & service were great! Angel & Liz were amazing! I was able to enjoy my birthday breakfast (apple walnut French toast). It was worth the 40 minute drive. I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend!!! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

My bill was 18.02 , I added a 4.00 tip. That is $22.02 Instead my bank said Apple Walnut charged me: $18.02 on one bill and A second of $400.00 , this is the second time they have created a banking issue. Time on the phone with the bank, now I have to go back to the cafe n see if the can fix it before it takes 7-10 days to fix their error.

When you get there, ask for Nicole. I walked to the Apple Walnut Cafe from Pep Boys to eat while waiting for a break job. I was overjoyed to find a menu with REAL food on a menu that wasn't insanely trendy, as most places seem to do lately. It was served quickly and was delicious. It satisfied more than my appetite. The true enjoyment was Nicole, my server. Getting a brake job isn't a joyous errand, but, Nicole made my day with her kindness and genuine conversation.

I ordered food to go for an office I was catering lunch for. The order was ready on time and everything was correct. The food was delicious! I had the ham and cheddar on apple bread and wow was it awesome. Will def be back when I’m in the area again.

i’ve been coming to Apple Walnut for a good three years now. I come with my family and friends and have introduced them to Apple Walnut Café. They all love it. The prices are reasonable for these days and the food is good quality. Denise is the best server there but all of them are wonderful. I get the scramble bowl and add in everything I can. There’s no up charges for extra vegetables for what I choose. I think the price is $13.50 right now and it’s well worth it great atmosphere great people great little café

Our only issues are the hundreds of gnats flying around our table, and the bathroom needs rearranged. The full to the brim trash can is literally right under the soap dispenser, so you’ll have to wash your hands TWICE. We eat here when we’re in town. The food is good, but I do wonder how the gnats and bathroom problems have flown under the radar considering this is a FOOD ESTABLISHMENT. Perhaps nobody cares about the sanitary factor?

Apple Walnut was our weekly go to Cafe for breakfast. However, the last 2 times we visited our food was presented i.e. undercooked, potatoes that were cold , toast not toasted and then sent back burned. Unfortunately, when I tried to explain to the server, she was condescending even when I was really just trying to provide feedback that if the plate was looked at before it came out of the kitchen this didn't need to happen. I clearly said that we were not there for a free breakfast. It was very disappointing.
