While the heaping roast beef was good, my wife's fish tacos were soggy and greasy. She only had one or two bites and gave up.

Wings were phenomenal. As someone else mentioned in their review, I got the burger as well and ordered it medium and it came out super raw. They took it back and heated it up a bit and it was great after that. My wife got the cheeseburger and said that was good as well. Only downfall was the poor service. There wasn’t many people in there but yet we still had a hard time getting ahold of our waitress. But hey, it happens. Price was also steep for a lunch, but most pub fare is.

Great food! Guys loved the burgers with homemade chips and sweet potato fries. Exceptional reuben and BLT. Nice beer selection and attentive service. Worth the trip from South Jersey! We'll be back!

We just had a late lunch and had a poor experience. Service was very slow, and we needed to ask for drink refills multiple times. My husband ordered a burger, but it came out entirely raw. It wasn’t even slightly undercooked. The edges were seared, and the inside was just raw ground beef.My husband ordered a quesadilla to replace the inedible burger. When the bill came out, the waitress said she left the burger on the bill because it was the same price as the quesadilla. However, I also had a quesadilla, so there was one of each on the bill, and we could clearly read that the burger was $5 more. Having already been served raw food, my husband no longer wanted to eat anything, so we basically just threw $20 in the garbage. When we were paying, the cook stepped out of the kitchen, and he had a giant hole in his pants. And by hole, I mean that an entire butt cheek (thankfully with underwear on) was out, which makes me question the practices of the establishment overall. Our waitress had the nerve to say that she hopes we’d come back and try it again sometime. I guess kudos to her for having that much confidence, but places don’t get a second chance after serving a plate of food poisoning.

The spot is great for casual night out. There is an early bird menu that offers three courses: salad entree dessert before 5:30. The service is excellent.
Great food

Great local spot for pup food, a cold pint, and friendly faces! My only request would be for GF options
Driven by the place a few times and stopped for dinner based upon a recommendation. It is located on Rt 413 at the intersection with Rt 202. Their menu has enough variety for nearly everyone and the portions were very large. The prices were reasonable and they also have both an early bird special plus a daily dinner special that is very good and inexpensive. The wait staff was really very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy about the place, it has an old school feel to it. There are a lot of seats at the bar plus some booths and tables. We would definitely go here again.
Don't let the 3 stars mislead you. The pickle chips, pierogis and BLT were all really good, and the service delightful. Problems...bar not wiped down after each patron, and our food came out 2 minutes after our apps.
Nice spot for sandwich and drink, nothing more
We usually go here for a quick lunch sandwich or salad. The lunches are consistent. Candlewyck has/still has? a lunch club card, too, for getting a free lunch after five visits. This past week, we tried dinner. Not realizing they have happy hour entrees till 5:30 pm. The price point is excellent. This past week was an entree, salad, potato, veg side, cheesecake, and tea for $15. The blackened salmon was perfect on the happy hour list. My spouse's open-face roast beef was a bit dry but got extra gravy. They put the meat and gravy on top of the french fries and veg. The Candlewyck is a bit cleaner than in the past. As for service, they check back frequently; however, getting the salad with the entree was a little surprising.
