Really bad experience. Family had dined here with previous owners twice and really thought the food was excellent, raved about it! Said they wanted to take us week of Thanksgiving after holiday shopping all day. Walked in and saw Seat Yourself sign. Right behind us was a guy carrying in a case of beer. Turns out he was the DJ for Karaoke night that we had been unaware of. As it was still early, we figured it wouldnt start until later like most bars so we had a seat.We were greated by a lovely but very harried server 10 minutes later who asked if anyone had been by. Then 10 minutes later by what appeared to be the owner, but at that point the server returned. There were 4 tables in the dining room. Four. Why were they so in the weeds?? There were 2 young ladies bussing tables when they got up in the bar and dining room. With only FOUR tables, maybe teach one of them to serve? A guy who appeared to be bartending was just standing around chatting with a few barflies. His arms didn't appear broken. Not sure why he couldn't wait on and clear any tables in the bar and still provide great service at the non- busy bar too. Someone later said they didn't have a liquor licence but you could bring your own. So again....what was the guy doing behind the bar? Visiting?We ordered 5 wings, a side salad, and 2 brisket sandwhich plates with fries. 20 minutes later the food arrived, which was fine if it was good.Unfortunately, the wings were burnt on ends, the brisket was extremely dry, and the fries on both plates were neither crispy nor hot. No way they were fried to order. The side salad that required no cooking was good. The person who recommended this place was very apologetic as he didnt enjoy his food either and said it was nothing like before.Then the karaoke started. Loudly. Not just in the bar, but the speaker was placed near the front door so the elderly couples in the dining room couldn't hear to talk amongst themselves. As they finished and left, I saw no one else come into the dining room once karaoke started. And the karaoke was so so bad. Ear bleeding. I highly recommend tickets to the Mifflin Juniata Concert series at the high school if you want to hear decent singing in Lewistown. And our night ended sitting next to 3 dirty tables while we noticed the 2 previous bussers singing their best karaoke songs. Not our thing. Won't be back. It's a shame. I think they are trying hard but its not working. Nice people.

Very delicious food, sauces we chose were awesome (North Carolina & Sweet Alabama I believe) waitress & I think the owner were there when we were, both so so friendly & welcoming.Don't travel this way often but will make a special trip just to revisit!

Excellent BBQ!!!...big selection of sauces... blueberry lava was OMG!! delicious and spicy. Ribs . .tender..seasoned well...salad was really fresh and crisp...took another salad home for later. Couldn't get enough of their cobbler...WOW!! Waitress was very nice. Fantastic service...wonderful smile, upbeat . ..knew her menu. Working on their liquor license but til then bring your own beer....they don't mind. It's amazing...highly recommend y'all try it... you will not be disappointed!!

The RIbeye steak I got for Fathers Day 2022 was the best steak I have ever had and at any steak house anywhere. The only one close was Ruth's Chris Steak house in Baltimore.

We needed special accommodations & the owner & waitress was quick to go above & beyond to accommodate us, so we could enjoy Our lunch. Such awesome people. An Owner who truly cares about her customers & the waitress treated us like we were regular customers & she knew us for years. Please trust us & stop in. Tell them Missy & James told you to stop in. ?You will not be disappointed. We had beef brisket sandwich. Super super delicious!! We can not wait to go back & try other options. Thanks so much! When we arrived shortly after 9 pm, all of the dining tables were either taken or dirty. It was seat yourself, so we chose the cleanest of the dirty tables. Unfortunately no one offered to clean it and the menus that were there looked messy. If reusing paper menus, they should at least be laminated so that they can be wiped clean. Our waiter, Josh, was very friendly and helpful and gave updates on our order. We got our food in a very timely manner. My son's ribs were good, but the ones on the bottom didn't have hardly any sauce. My cobb salad was very good, although I had asked for no onions and received them anyway. The smoked gouda mac & cheese was delicious, the fries were cooked well, my one son got pasta with smoked gouda alfredo and crispy chicken. The alfredo sauce was very good, although their grilled chicken would have been much better on it, instead of chicken tenders, but that was my son's choice. Overall, the food was good, the portions were plentiful, the service was friendly, they just need to tighten some things up to have more consistency and a better customer experience.
I get that they recently opened but wow what a struggle. This is listed as a BBQ but they were out of most food items at 1pm on a Sunday and the place was empty. The waiter took our order then 40 minutes later he went to check on our order to discover that the order was not in the system because one of the items we ordered was not available. The “brisket” was a dry shredded pot roast that was really hard to swallow. I wish them the best of luck but I will not be giving them a second chance.

The food was not very good and they were out of a lot of menu items. We got brisket sandwiches. They were dry and tasted like they had cooked in a crockpot. Service was friendly, but you should be told that the credit machine is down before you order and not at the end of the meal. Will not be going back.
