Awesome staff , Great food ... the beer they make is amazing . Definitely worth checking out
First you must walk to the bar, wait in line to order food, drink and pay. The staff will bring the food to your table but no table service except bussing. The craft beers are the typical musty, hoppy undrinkables found in lots of local breweries. A saving grace is Spirits by a local distillery Hungry Run. The bourbon is a bit rough to chew, the gin is fine. The bartender cannot make an Old Fashioned at all so do not even ask. Best ladies cocktail is the "Rootbeer" which is sweet and can be guzzled so be careful. Menu is a headscratcher. Not a dinner menu, more like lunch and snacks during the live music. Our nachos with beer cheese was good, my lasagna soup was laughably just a hunk of fast food lasagna in a bowl, not a soup at all. My sliders were okay and the Carlito's Way sandwich was ok. Wine is available which is good from the Winery there in Big Valley. Brookmere Winery & Vineyard Inn.

Always a great experience at Short Bus!! Excellent craft beer with a welcoming and fun atmosphere. Hard not to enjoy yourself when having a drink at Short Bus.
The atmosphere & beer is pedestrian at best. I suppose an argument could be made this establishment is catering to locals who usually drink domestic beers and have a low expectations. If you're looking for a quality brew pub in Mifflin County, I would skip Short Bus & go to Shy Bear instead.

Awesome place! Great service and great beer
We really enjoy going to Short Bus. The staff is very friendly and when they have karaoke, and we’re all engaged in having a great time, they allow us stay longer. Thank you “TNT” Bill Snook for staying extra long! Always a great time! ?
