Kitchen closes early on Friday, but the sign says 1030 pm on Friday and Saturday, i ordered at 940pm, out of Fries and the cook was already drinking at the bar!

owners are horrible and think they are better than everyone. multiple reports of watered down liquor. to cheap to run the ac so it's always a hot box in there. food is inconsistent. 10/10 do not recommend

Called ahead to see what the specials were for the day, and after arriving the waitress that we spoke to on the phone said that they didn't actually start until 4pm, stating this immediately upon entering as if she knew who we were and that she had not disclosed this when on the phone an hour before we arrived. Asked why she didn't tell is that on the phone at first she said she forgot but then back peddled and said it was my fault I didn't ask when they started. She then called the manager who said the specials were in the paper and on the Facebook page that we were never directed to on the phone so her not disclosing any details wouldn't matter. I said this was very upsetting and asked for the check, stating because of this I would never visit this establishment again, which sparked an argument with the waitress who said I was being mean for being upset, even though no details were disclosed when I called an hour before arriving. I actually feel she knew she made a mistake when she began being defensive, and after she was on the phone with her manager, it seemed as if she was hesitant to speak with me because of the answer she had received.

For incredible wings, look no further – these are among the best around. The service is good as well. The atmosphere has much to be desired, tho.

One of few places where it's just a nice place to have great food,meet people and a friendly atmosphere 👍I've been stopping there since 1985 now that I look back seriously 😁 my life flew by but I always find my way back to Deer Oak Restaurant 💜

This place is disgusting with horrendous staff. There are roaches crawling everywhere, their glasses are foggy from being unclean, and just grime every corner you look in. The bartenders with no teeth have attitude issues, the younger one came in wasted one night spilling all over the bar. The other one I overheard gossiping to customers and was so incompetent it took her five minutes to tally up my bill which was two beers and an appetizer. She also was glaring across the bar at some pretty girls. very bitter woman! not the kind of energy I want at a bar. If i never come back it’ll still be too soon.

Excellent wings w/many flavors to choose from.
Vinegar for fries. Not many veggies, but broccoli was good. Coleslaw was good.
Steak was a bit bland, could be spiced up a bit or offer some flavors like garlic butter, sautéed onions, something. Good dessert menu.

Local company good place for a drink, never went in but people seem to like it so yeah, thumbs up.

This place is terrible. THEY HAVE NOT HAD THEIR BEER TAPS CLEANED IN YEARS!!! Literally noboby (including staff) can ever remember seeing the taps cleaned.!!!!! The only time the kitchen gets a thorough cleaning is when there's an inspection coming and nobody who actually works there has the health and safety certificates needed to keep the kitchen open.. she literally pays someone to allow her to use their cert even though they no longer work there and they havent for years.. and we won't even talk about the walk in cooler. And yes I've seen it all with my own eyes.. filthy in the back..gross.

Used to work here worst experience of my life. The owner only care about herself and the money in her pocket. She definitely rips off your checks treats you like absolute garbage if you make even the smallest mistake forget having a day off she’ll hollow up for phone until you go in including calling your emergency contact!!!! The place is so dirty and Smokey and outdated it’s a dive. She dumps her dirty mop water on the ground outback because it’s “bad for her septic” washed dishes with the same water in the dishwasher all night you can only fill it once for the day absolutely disgusting. And most of her “home made” foods are from Sam’s club!

The food was horrible the owner of the place was very rude never asked if we needed more to drink. Then when we left the restaurant we saw someone urinating on the side of the building. The place was horrible. Wish I could give a negative star

I was appalled by our old waitress /( owner) who was our only waitress ,slower than molasses doing the dining room area herself on Prime Rib night! Our food was excellent made to perfection but just dealing with the waitress I think whose name was Jane was the most arrogant person ever and changed our dining experience! Why would an 85 year old lady be so greedy to own the business and still steal basically an opportunity for someone in need! The restroom had freezing cold water to wash hands with and how could you possibly clean germs off with that. She sat at a table up front with a younger couple who tried to eat their meal alone but she so ignorantly sat with them and annoyed them. The fellow said she does it every Saturday and she gives them a pitty story so they just deal with her! She wasn't worth the 3 dollar tip we left her and Andy is so right about her. She is horrible at waitressing and she looks dirty.

Very rude people, poor service and the building needs updated really bad. Owner cannot handle reviews and opinions of her customers nasty to them even in the comments to her own posts!!! Very childish
