West Shore Elks is a welcoming restaurant and lodge, known for its excellent food and friendly service. The bar is a popular spot, and the establishment offers halls for rent to members. The restaurant is highly regarded for its support of the local community, hosting events such as a back to school fair that provides fun activities for kids and a chili cookoff with reasonably priced food and free games for children. The chef, Danny, is praised for his famous grill chee, considered the best this side of the Susquehanna, and the staff, including rookie of the year Phil Gillis, are known for their warm hospitality. Phil also makes a highly recommended Tuna salad sandwich with a tall glass of milk. Parking can be a challenge.
