I have to say I've been wanting to try Joey's Chicken shack for quite some time ever since I first open. When I walked into Joey's Chicken shack it had the most calming and Southern looking atmosphere with like a chicken wind chime and it just had very authentic like 1950s style Chicken shack look to it. I walked up to the counter the guy greeted me and treated me with respect and was very professional. When I was trying to decide what I wanted he asked if I ever ate here and when I told him I didn't he recommended some things including a chicken sandwich. They have a large selection of stuff and they have different styles I guess you could say and sauces. I got the southern tender chicken sandwich and it was the best sandwich I have ever had that was a chicken sandwich compared to other places I have gotten chicken sandwiches from. Everything was evenly distributed and it wasn't too overpowering with the sauce it was just perfect. It had a sauce that had a little kick to it but it blended well with the role the pickles and the chicken tenders. I would recommend this place 110% because it is the best chicken place I have been to and the atmosphere makes you feel welcome warm and cozy.

The price of the food is crazy high, the atmosphere is nice and staff is friendly. We used to go here frequently and then finally stopped due to the high prices. We recently went and again remembered why we stopped- the bill was quite expensive for the same thing you can get much cheaper at other places or make at home.

Put tomatoes on my sandwich after I said no tomatoes because I'm allergic gave me a hand full of of fries and I paid for the fries as a side and old pickles and old lettuce

FOOD AND STAFF ARE AMAZING.! First thing you notice when you walk into this restaurant is the family atmosphere and welcoming faces of the staff. Food is also fresh and hot. I LOVE the tacos. My go to. When you stop in make sure you try all the amazing sauces they have to offer.

I've always wanted to try this place. I ordered the 12 oz popcorn chicken. I went into the store to pick up my online order and I thought that the bag was really small for what I ordered. I got home and weighed it. It was not even 7 oz. I called the restaurant and asked about it. They said that they use a 12 oz cup. So basically they use a volume measurement instead of a weight measurement. That's very misleading. If that's the case, then they ought to use small, medium, or large and not volume measurements. The taste was even more disappointing. It seemed like it was sitting out for a couple of hours and they used dirty oil to fry the chicken. If you're looking for some good fried chicken I would suggest going literally anywhere else or making it at home. I will not be coming back, nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Was there the other day spent over 40$ n no chicken just hard pieces of breading I drove over 40 minutes and was so disappointed 😔 this used to be my favorite place 😩 the guy was rushing and I get it was close to closing time but that’s unacceptable!!!!

Sat down to eat what I thought would be some delicious chicken and fries. When he brought out my order I was surprised by the appearance!! Because it all had been refriedand looked two days old, when I questioned server about it he said that's what we do because it would take to long to cook it so this is a short cut. So my advice to anyone who want to try Joey's is DON'T. My first warning was when I pulled up in parking lot, EMPTY. People heed the warnings.

Everything was okay. We ordered wings. I don't understand why neither ranch or Bleu cheese comes with the wings. I understand charging for extra. I have never seen any restaurant charge for the first condiment. The wings are average.
