This was our first visit to The Pennsylvania Bakery. We were blown away with the variety of pastries and other baked goods. We bought a few things, my favorite was the apple flip. My wife really enjoyed the few different cookies she picked up.

The managers suck and are INCREDIBLY rude and inconsiderate to their employees. A lot of young teenage girls working there and all of them are so sweet and kind hearted, but the managers.. one in particular.. have the WORST negative energy. The bad aura is palpable in the environment. Treat your employees better, you reek of bitterness, bakeries are supposed to be sweet.

Poor customer service. Employees not familiar with products they sell. Sold me 2 very expensive boxes of milk chocolate pretzels when I asked for dark chocolate. Was very disappointed when I returned home to Virginia. The cashier never made eye contact with me. Was more occupied with closing the store than serving me, $85 order of various baked goods. I won't be returning on my next trip to Harrisburg. Went out of my way to get here before they closed. Next....
Tasty desserts in a well traveled location. Very pleasant inside. The workers there are always hustling (working hard). The dessert's appearance and flavor is really good. They even have coffee/hot tea area which makes some soothing beverages!

Amazing selection of tasty treats! The best éclairs I've ever had (and I don't normally even like ecclairs!) We've purchased cakes, pastries and cookies, either large or mini in size. We have yet to be disappointed. Every employee we have encountered have been gracious and patient (when it takes you a few minutes to decide what you want!). Warning: be prepared to purchase more than you expected because everything looks so wonderful...and usually is! A wonderful dilemma!

First time after years of beautiful birthday cakes for my mother and myself this is the last time I’m ordering from here. My cake looked like a home ec project that I could’ve done myself and made it look better. It was very off putting that everything i described to the girl she just kept saying up charge and extra. This was for my 50th birthday and I was super disappointed that 93$ got myself a cake I could have got at Giant or Costco for a lot less money. Lesson learned.

Always love their cakes! Easy to order, look amazing, taste delicious. Just recently had to pick up a birthday cake and my toddler and newborn fell asleep on the way to pick up. The nice employee let me pay over the phone and offered to bring the cake out to my car. Great customer service!
Parking: Parking lot is a bit tricky to get in and out of. One way and a little tight.

My wife and I stopped in yesterday for a specialty drink and a few mini-goodies. Absolutely delicious with so many selections to choose from including gluten free. We took some home with us as well are still enjoying the yumminess!
