I do not recommend this Pharmacy. I have switched to another in the area due to extreme dissatisfaction- after using this pharmacy since 2007. I never had many if any prescriptions so I guess it's hard for me to accurately say if it's gone down hill or not but I know in the past few months that I have had several new prescriptions and the entire experience at Giant Eagle has been horrid. I really do hope that the management reads these reviews and takes them seriously as honest constructive criticism and tries to make things better. Trying to call the pharmacy and actually speaking to a person is nearly impossible. I had to call 20 times over 2 days to finally get through. Red flag there. Not enough staff. Secondly, when you finally do get through - you are greeted with overly rude, condescending and outfight hostile staff. Nobody should have to put up with that kind of treatment. NOBODY I blame management, the workers are just a reflection of their work environment and the supervisors they work for. Something is seriously wrong here. Not going back

had to place the order for 12 doughnuts because of the covid restrictions but please write down my order when I call. Not a single jelly filled one, NOT 1! Bad employees there, like you are bothering them when you go back to get your order, then I say I have a order for them and she walks away before I can even give my name only to return and then ask my name.....duh!!!!!

I will Not go back to this store! I have a medical condition to where as I do not have to wear a mask but I do out of respect for others. two days ago I was in the store with a mask on but had an episode and had to pull my mask down. I went thru the self serve check out but needed assistance for an item and the employee refused to help me until I pulled mask over my nose. i even moved to the other side of the cart and pulled it so I was at least 6 feet from her.

Generally I like this store, but yesterday I ventured out for the first time since we have been asked to stay home due to Covid 19. I was appalled at the lack of care! Although procedures had been put in place to accommodate social distancing, hardly anyone was paying attention to the signs placed outside of the store. My wife was recently here shopping. She went to the wine and beer section and asked an employee a couple questions about craft beer. The employee Randy was condescending and rude to her for not knowing what a "real" craft beer is. She isn't an expert on beer and was insulted. We won't be back.

I obtain many prescriptions from this pharmacy in Peters Township. One of my prescriptions seemed to have fewer pills than I thought was correct so I counted them out and the prescription was short. The pills are each very expensive so I was very unhappy to have to call and make another trip to get the rest of the prescription. this is the first time that this happened that I know of but has created a distrust. I had excellent service at Walgreens in Canonsburg but my insurance this year has changed my preferred pharmacy.

I have to praise the bakery for the excellent job they did for me this weekend. I had ordered a cake from a different vendor (Sam's Club). My husband picked it up Saturday afternoon for a shower I was hosting Sunday for my future daughter-in-law. When I saw the cake I cried so after complaining to them I started calling. My husband suggested GE saying I always get your birthday cakes there. So Donaldson Cross Roads was close to the venue where the shower was. I described what I wanted all over the phone and when I picked it up I was more than pleased. From a conversation over the phone you guys got it. You will be my go to bakery from now on. Thanks so much for saving the day. HIGHLY Recommend!

So disappointed in Giant Eagle, and in mgmt. There were no red, yellow, or orange peppers. They were also out of strawberries and red onions were rotting. When I approached the manager, Chris, instead of offering to help me find the products I was looking for he indicated that he would speak with his team and that he had been out for a funeral. Speaking to someone didn't help me right here and right now find the products that I needed. Sorry, Giant Eagle, I'll take my $300 grocery order to wal-mart.

I am so tired of purchasing food at this store only to find it spoiling the next day. In the last two weeks I have had to throw away grapes, strawberries, and now organic chicken thighs. All of these items were purchased within a day or two of them going bad. They are not sitting in my fridge for weeks. The garlic was sprouting green stalks the last time I shopped there! I think I will be making the drive to other grocery stores. I will not continue to throw my money away like this.

The cakes and baked goods are the best! Within the past couple of years this particular GE no longer carries many name brand items that I need to purchase on a regular basis. I have asked at the service desk and the items are no longer carried and they did not know why certain breads, pastas, salsas or crackers are no longer carried - I now have to travel out of town to get the groceries I need (they are not organic or any 'specialty' grocery items.
