The first time I came here myself along with 4 other families waited in the front for a hostess for 20 minutes. Someone finally came out when a friend I was meeting there called the restaurant and said “you have people waiting in the front”. Terrible. Then the second time we order take out food. My husband picked it up drove all the way back only to find my $16 sushi wasn’t in the bag. He goes back to get the sushi comes back AGAIN with someone else’s order. I call and the worker on the phone won’t even let me finish explaining before she cuts me off and gave me really no good excuse or apology just says she will credit me and hung up. I’ve never dealt with a restaurant that has such low quality customer service. Food is good which is the unfortunate part but not worth all of this.

The meal was fantastic, but we did have to wait quite awhile for a chef. We had a reservation, too. I think they seat too many tables for the number of chefs they have. My only other note would be that the bathrooms could use a really good cleaning.

The service was the worst I’ve ever had! First they didn’t seat us until an hour AFTER our reservations. They took 15 minutes to take drink orders.. and another 45 until we received our drinks.. this is including waters/pops. This only happened because we got up and grabbed an employee and demanded we get our drinks. We had a person with a shell fish allergy. We told them numerous times. Yet they tried to cook the chicken after the seafood was on grill. Absolutely unacceptable. Our bills were all wrong. I will NEVER return. They should be ashamed!

This place is never staffed to the amount of customers it gets. It always takes way too long to sit down, order, get food, etc. The food is good so if you're willing to wait 2 hours before you get your food by all means go here you will enjoy the food. But the insanely long wait times will never be worth it for me.

Don’t bother unless you like waiting an absurd amount of time for mediocre food that costs more than it should based on food quality and service. Take out orders are always a mess and never ready on time. Be prepared to wait like 30 minutes past the time your order is supposed to be “ready.”

Read some of the reviews beforehand, saw a couple complain about wait times. Still decided to go and had a great experience, we were seated right away with another table and the service was great! I had ordered steak hibachi it was phenomenal and you get rice and noodles with your meal which is great. We also had hibachi chef Joe cook for us and he was hilarious, had us all laughing non-stop. We was awesome, definitely one of the best cooks I have ever had at a hibachi restaurant.

Hostess told us 25 min wait. We waited around 30 minutes which wasn’t terrible. Until we were seated, only to wait over an hour for a chef to come over. We felt bad and didn’t want to leave because our waitress gave us soup and salad. I felt bad for her because the poor waitress was over worked and was waiting on all the tables pretty much by herself and forgot our water. They hardly had any help, they had to pull the bartender to help out. Wish the hostess would have just told us they were short staffed ahead of time like most businesses have since Covid staff shortages started.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly items

Beautiful decor, clean quiet. Service fast and friendly. Tempura was light and crispy, hibachi steak was probably the most tender I've had. Would recommend. Will swing by again next time heading to Pittsburgh.Parking: Resturant is in a shopping center

Is zero stars possible? Worst hibachi experience ever. We went tonight for a birthday celebration, and after arriving for our 730 pm reservation our party of 10 was seated. Drinks were served quickly and we placed our order. This is about where the good ends. It took forever for our chef to come out, then we had no hibachi experience. We had three kids with us who were disappointed seeing the other chef's being interactive and lively. Our fried rice was full of egg shells, vegetables basically raw, and the chef kept mixing up all of our food. When I went to find a manager, she was enjoying my her evening in a booth. After offering a 10% discount, she had the nerve to ask if we still wanted the birthday celebration. WTF. It's kind of what we came here for. Honestly, would never go back and couldn't wait to pay and leave. My kids gave it a 1 out of 10 and begged me to never make them go again.

Let's say 4.8 stars (I rounded it to 5). The food was good, and I think a little cheaper than Fusion, another Japanese Steakhouse. The entertainment was good, but I didn't find it quite as good as fusion, but I'd definitely go again.

We've never been here before... and honestly... doubt we'll ever be back, at least not for table service. We wanted to do the hibachi thing... they were not sitting for that for almost an hour. Fine, we took a table instead. There was a table seated right after us... they were waited on and received their food even before the waiter came to take our drink order. Took 20 minutes for that to occur. When the waiter did show up... he rushed us into ordering, didn't wait for us to completely finish ordering... and he was way more interested in waiting on the tables in the other room. The bartender was much more courteous to us than the waiter was, and it wasn't even his job. Didn't receive our food for almost an hour. The service we received (or more to the point didn't) from the waiter was seriously some of the worst I've experienced at a restaurant. He could've cared less about our table. So, I tipped the bartender for his service, which was much better than the waiter. The food was good. Nothing spectacular. But I'm sure it would've been "better" if the whole experience wasn't dragged down by poor service. The bartender did say he told the manager.. no one came to ask about anything other than the bartender, which, again, was not his station. So kudos to him.

I hate seeing people give good restaurants bad reviews. High probability that these same people leaving these bad reviews will eat the entire meal and drink their several alcohol drinks then complain. I want to ask these people…If you truly had an issue, why did you enjoy the food and drinks? ? Are you looking for a free meal?

As a Japanese person the food here besides the fish was very bad. The atmosphere is nice the restaurant is beautiful on the inside, but the food is not good at all. If you get anything eat the raw fish that’s it. It’s surprisingly edible. There’s even some Chinese food on the menu at a Japanese restaurant, but it doesn’t taste very good either. Would not recommend, for any price but especially not 23 dollars.
