Great food and service! Wings are good. The burger was fantastic!! Every time I order a burger lately it is either still cold in the middle or dry and burnt. I ordered the burger med well and it was flavorful and not dried out. It was so good that I ate the whole burger and forgot I was going to ask for ketchup. I was also impressed that the bathroom was clean. Definitely don’t find that often😁 Thank you!

I'm sure the food is great, but this location used to be my parents' and grandparents' bookstore, CVBBS... It's under new ownership now, but seeing this restaurant makes me think of all the memories of going to my parents' work... where the stage currently is, used to be a table, chairs, and guest book of people who'd buy our books, and I sat there and read a lot of books 😆 best wishes to the restaurant

Our first first here and we weren't disappointed with the food or the great selection of their on-site brewed beers. Thank you Chuck for a great trip/lesson of your beers. We will be back. It's too bad that you didn't think much of the Tiller Rye Whiskey that we shared....... that's more for me!!!

I came to see the Dirty Boots Country Music tryouts. The atmosphere, food, and staff were amazing. I tried their Backporch Burger and Bessie's Best Blonde golden ale. The burger was excellent and cooked exactly how I asked for it. The golden ale was amazing! The country music tryouts for Dirty Boots Country Fest were a great experience, and the acts were amazing. If you find yourself in Carlisle, stop in and give them a try.
Have been here twice in the last few weeks. Nice selection of beer (including hazy IPAs), food is fantastic (my favorite is the Longboat sandwich), and friendly servers who do a great job. My new favorite brewery/restaurant!

would say 2.5 stars... beer is all above avg, some very good (Kolsch & IPAs). Varied options lots of lagers, a few IPAs, 1 stout & porter at our visit. Pulked pork is VERY sweet. Service is very lacking, even sitting at the bar at a very slow time. there's better options in the area.
