Staff was busy in the kitchen area. We waited several minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the register. The place smelled like fish! It was not very inviting. We were looking for cookies for a dinner party. The cookies were okay. Nothing spectacular but they were very expensive. I have paid far less for much better cookies. I would not recommend.

Very cute local bakery. Staff is kind and everything is clean. We've tried it twice now and we just can't justify the prices to continue going.
Everything we've tried has ranged from okay to good. A lot of their cakes and breads are consistently dry. Nothing blew us away and the prices far exceed the quality. I know people in the area love this place, but I wouldn't recommend it.

This place is AMAZING!! First when you walk in it smells soooo good like I think I gained 10 lbs walking in the door, worth it though lol I’ve enjoyed some of their items and everything tastes fresh and homemade it’s worth every penny! If you need a good baked good that’s the real thing this is the place and the service is wonderful

I ordered a red velvet cake for my husband’s birthday, as I do every year. I’ve lived in Chicago, San Francisco, and London, and I can say - without a shade of doubt - that Beeman’s made the best red velvet cake I’ve ever had.
I would absolutely recommend them!

Yummy bakery with many favorites. They always have baked goods that reflect the holiday favorites. Also local canning items and local made cheese selections. My extra twenty pounds can be attributed to their delicious desserts!

Beeman's Baked Goods carries Dutch Touch hard pretzels which in my opinion are the best hard pretzels made in PA. If your a hard pretzel fan, give them a try. They are a little pricey. We have also had Beeman's homemade baked goods and they are delicious. (Woopie pies, shoefly pie, and sticky buns w/ walnuts.

Best place
I showed up at 7am in 4" of snow on Fastnucht day. Passed 5 stuck cars on the way, and Beeman's intersection was closed. They had parking places shoveled. I walked in. Power was out, and it was dark. They were still selling, full staff present. Genuine Fastnucht's- no glaze (real 10x sugar), no fluffy(real bread recipe), no holes (real squares). Just like my Dutch mother made in my childhood. Amazing work ethic. Stunningly Genuine

When you walk in this store...it smells sooooo good!!! You can smell all the fresh baked goods that they are making!! It's amazing!! Their molasses cookies were EXCELLENT ( very soft and chewy)!!! They reminded me of the cookies my grandmother used to make for me and my siblings when we were going up!! The sticky buns were also extremely delicious!!!! The workers were very friendly too. Definitely stop in if you're in the Carlisle...it's worth the trip!!!
