We came into this establishment at 10:30am on a Saturday. There were plenty of open seats, and we were given a table right away. We got our drinks fairly quickly and placed our orders. After that, we saw absolutely nothing for almost an hour. My coffee was not refilled until 45 minutes later, and we never got our food. After sitting for an hour, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Absolutely rediculous. We will not be returning.

Cracker Barrel is a standard country cooking restaurant. The store up front is always interesting, and food offerings tend to be standard american country dishes. Tried a breakfast combo just to see how well this Cracker Barrel would do it. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, the bacon was not crispy at all, the pancakes were light and airy, apples were ok.Overall the food here is not very flavorful, especially pancakes. The blindness of all of seems somewhat intentional for older clientele. The biggest reason for a lower score is the choice of ingredients that lead to bland flavors. The pancakes tasted like the cheapest all purpose flour, or a commercial pre-mix that is designed for appearance and texture more than flavor.The bacon was higher quality. The problem was the undercooked fat. The eggs were the star of the show, but also seem to be rather flat in flavor. And the apples seemed like they were made a few days ago, but the apples themselves had decent flavor.Service was great, our server Hayden was attentive, fast, and made sure we had all we needed. The rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming.If you need something quick and basic, this could be an option.

Ordered blueberry pancakes and got regular pancakesSyrup was not in the regular little bottles and I was much less in the little cup they gave you. Had to ask for many more refills of syrup.Didn't get our biscuits with meal and also had to ask again for themNot as good an experience as usual. After about 10 minutes she took orders from 2 people who walked in after me. I was hungry and ready to leave and she finally came to take my order. When the food arrived it was luke warm and I was hungry and ate it. What ever happened to serving hot food? I won't be back.

The Carlisle location was terrible Wednesday night . I get it spring Carlisle is in town but what a disappointment. Ordered the Country Fried Chicken. Wasn't fresh like it had been refried . Edges were hard and crusty . Got steak fries maybe 7 fries if I was lucky . Broccoli was raw I thought it was to be steamed . Fried apples were good . Got corn muffins that were so hard you would of needed a hammer to bust them apart . My brother got the New Chicken Golden BBQ strip they were decent. But was lucky to get 6 fries . Would have been better off going to chic fillet . Will rethink going to this location any time soon. Eating out is expensive. I'm local but not going here again anytime soon.

The customer service was very good , however I got food to go and the burger was very cold and soggy. They didn't send the biscuits and cornbread that I had request and no butter and jam as well
