We had been wanting to come try out this restaurant and finally made it out on Thanksgiving day. They were doing a thanksgiving buffet so that drew us in.

We sat at the bar. They do have alcoholic drinks but we didn’t get any on this occasion but the bar was right inside the door and we prefer sitting there. The typicall thanksgiving foods were offered in the buffet; turkey, stuffing, mashed and sweet potato’s, etc. they also had shrimp scampi with pasta which must have been a hit because all I could get was the pasta but that was good. I imagine it would have been even better with the shrimp.

Our bartender/server was pleasant and attentive. The overall atmosphere was easygoing. The owner or manager was greeting people and we chatted with him. He was hospitable and welcoming.

The price for the buffet was great. I didn’t get a chance to look at prices on the regular menu but I am sure they are comparable to most other places in town.

We had an overall good time. We will have to come back and try the seafood dishes sometime.

We have been on a wing hunt with blue cheese dressing for some time. Fairground Grill and Crab House for the WIN! Chili was piping hot and delicious. Tuna app was good. The wasabi was welcome treat! Service was sweet and charming, although new. They took excellent care of us! We will be back!

Delicious sweet and hot wings! They are tasty and tender. The blue cheese is the chunkies and savory!

Sweet waiter, clean, spacious and plenty of parking

I had the Cream of Crab soup and Crab Benedict Skillet. The soup was fairly typical for this area. Cream soup with a ton of old bay and lump crap. A bit salty for my taste and lacking enough vegetables and herbs to give it any dimension beside salty. Unfortunately this covers up the sweet delicate crab flavor canceling it out. The crab benedict was bad. Not like gonna kill you bad but no flavor bad. This went the other direction. The potatoes had very little crisp, it had a good amount of crab but was covered in a soul-less and worse, broken hollandaise sauce. The highlight of that dish was the rye toast. Eggs were well poached. Entire dish could have used literally any seasoning. No salt, pepper, herbs or aromatics were present. The service was great! Very friendly staff that are ready to serve and and dont pester you while eating.

Mom hadn't had lobster tail from living in the Midwest for a long time, and moved back to Carlisle after my dad passed recently. This is the best gem of a place for food and service in quite some time. I had snow crab legs: they were cooked perfectly and came out of the shells in legs and big chunks! Everything was really good and reasonably priced. The service was fabulous! Love the atmosphere. A new favorite in Carlisle!!

We started off simple with water and Yuengling Lager, then ordered the Ahi tuna as our starter. The tuna was spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

For our meals, we went with the Crab Benedict and the Shrimp Linguine pasta. The clear standouts were the shrimp and the tuna. Both were cooked to perfection and carried the whole experience.

Overall, solid food with a couple of real highlights. The shrimp and tuna alone make it worth stopping in.

I was curious about your restaurant until I saw your failed food safety inspection. Thawing seafood in a bucket on the floor by the sink is the one that got me

So far I have dined here a couple times since the renovation and the food is exceptionally good and the prices are very reasonable. steaks are prepared perfectly; not overly seasoned like most places. Crab cakes are wonderful with jumbo lump crap, little filler and light on the seasoning so you can actually taste the crab. Oysters on a half shell were extremely fresh. I can go on and on about the food but I do want to highlight the service as well. Dorothy was our server and she could not have been any better. Awesome service!!!

Best fresh seafood in Carlisle. So happy to have a great local seafood restaurant. The owner stopped by tables to talk with everyone. He told us everything is made from scratch - soups, salad dressings and they only use fresh seafood. Excellent food and service. Very friendly staff. I can’t wait to try their breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

We happened to pass this place and stop. Thank god we did! The mussels with red spicy sauce was amazing! The sauce was good enough to drink and wasn't too spicy. We got spicy bloody Mary's as well and they were awesome! We will definitely be coming back. The drink and food were alittle slow but we came in between lunch and dinner and there wasn't alot of staff. It didn't take away from the experience at all.
