Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

i had bristle looking/feeling things wrapped in my lomein noodles. i tried to call them and the lady didn’t understand me. i will not be returning

I have been going there for years and I have never been disappointed. The food has been delicious and well prepared. The family that owns it are very nice and very hard working. Yes their place isn't the prettiest or up to date but it is excellent food.

Excellent chicken fried rice with vegetables and the onions were sparse and thin pieces compared to other venues where the onions are thick and overpowering in the dish.
Additionally our egg rolls were larger, better tasting than the other venues I tried.

While waiting for our order, I watched an employee sitting at a booth scratching her head with a comb. Then brushed the hair off the table with her hand. She returned to the kitchen to place our order in a bag without washing her hands.

Service was fast for takeout. Received incorrect item in order. Chicken was tough and tasted old. Egg roll was good! Fortune cookies also stale.

Does this place have new owners? I used to think the food was fantastic, but the last two times it was horrible. It ended up in the garbage. I just brought home some pork lo mein. The pork tasted old like its been a while since it was cooked. And it really had no taste. And like someone mentioned before, the girl answering the phone needs a lesson in customer service. The last two times she tried to get me to buy more than I wanted. I told her I wanted a pint and she asked if I wanted a quart. I said no, I want a pint. She then asked if I wanted a large. I repeated my order, informed her of the price and said I would not pay for anything more. She didn't seem happy.

the place was alright, close by the gym. But after finding pieces of metal in my food and saw the chef smoking a cigarette while he was cooking, I will not be heading back there. I do not want cigarette ash and metal in my food.

Food was dry to much salt. Chicken on stick was dry. Gravy on egg foo Young no gravy back sauce was salty. Won’t buy no more. Beef fried rice was dry.

As a hospitality industry employee I must admit the female who answers the phone should be put on some sort of customer service training/tone and manner in which she responds. The food is HORRIBLE, I would not want to think that they save old chicken pieces for there so called “pineapple chicken” . 🤮 Another colleague had shrimp 🍤 with garlic sauce and had to trash it!! Absolute nightmare WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 😡

What a dump. My daughter asked for Chinese food for her birthday. We don't expect an expensive and immaculate restaurant. However, this restaurant is not taken care of. It has a busted sign. Going into the store, there were tables stacked with junk. Dirty. We didn't stay to try the food. If they care so little for the restaurant, I don't trust the food.
