Very lovely people running the place who are patient if you aren't familiar with the cuisine. The falafel and humus are awesome ? as well as the baklava! I also enjoyed the Turkish coffee which he brought out to us before we even paid for it, which was very sweet :) The building is also very clean and lovely to look at while you dine! Not to mention plenty of food options for, even for vegetarians!

THE SERVICE AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GOOD. HOWEVER, AS A MIDDLE EASTERN, THE SCHWARMA WAS NOT GOOD AT ALL. A. THE BREAD LOOKED AND TASTED LIKE A MEXICAN TORTILLA, NOT MIDDLE EASTERN BREAD. B. IT WAS VERY SMALL AND THIN. C. IT COST ME $10 AND SOME.

Went into this place despite not seeing a single other customer at noon on a Friday during the Christmas/New Year vacation period most people enjoy and are in downtown locations like this to shop. As we headed into the place, it seemed clean, casual, and fast food like. To me, it also seemed old because of its decades old building and downtown area, but the owners of this place decorated it well with Middle Eastern painted cloths, gold figurines, etc.Two women were the workers running the place. Both apparently Middle Eastern (Egyptian?), one was in the kitchen area, the other out front but on the phone. The place was freezing cold like air conditioning was on instead of the heat expected at this time of year. Neither greeted us.We asked if we could sit down and the woman on the phone said we could sit wherever we liked (a bunch of tables and chairs in the place, all empty, so we selected the table nearest the kitchen area, close to the women to make it easier for them.Looking at the two page menu with our winter jackets and hats on, we food seemed reasonably priced and the normal Middle Eastern fare. We decided on our food appetizers and main course , but neither woman came to greet us or take our order, let alone ask if we wanted anything to drink or even give us utensils or napkins. After about 5 minutes of being ignored and feeling like we were dining outdoors, we simply left. Neither woman said a word. Very odd!I can not report anything about the food or service since we received neither. I also can't recommend this place for a wintertime visit unless they have heat on. I'm willing to try this place again in the future in the interest of ensuring fairness of my reviews, but not sooner than spring's warmer weather.

Great food for a good value. The amount of food you get varies. Sometimes the wraps are stuffed, and sometimes they are quite thin. But always tasty.

My wife and I have eaten their food four times over the last six months or so, and it's always been good. Our favorites are the Alexandrian liver and the falafel platters. Try it out!

Delicious halal food! Exceeded my expectations as it is a relatively small, kitschy place, probably family owned. I didn't even take a picture of the food as I usually do because I ate so fast!! I definitely recommend the juices, kebabs, and gyros!Vegetarian options: Upon request!

We recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich(wrap)! It was so flavorful and the portion size was very nice. The potato salad and pita bread were very good as well. I also recommend the kofta wrap too. This was a delightful surprise to stumble upon this restaurant when we were looking for something to eat for lunch on a Sunday afternoon in Carlisle. The service was quick but they brought our orders out one at a time, so halfway through one sandwich before the other came out. We got there around opening time and I noticed the ketchup bottles on the tables had some dried ketchup on them. I hate seeing that. But everything else seemed very clean, including the restroom. Very excited to come back again to try the falafel and the grape leaves.
