Remi Wolf Joe is the best bartender in Carlisle.... He only has respect and compassion for everyone by at the gas ever served. The patrons on the establishment come back religiously for a reason. Not sure what high horse you fell off of. But my recommendation is to stand up, sober up and dust yourself off. I'm sure BBQ Tavern has a stool for you.

We were excited to go to Market Cross because they added a couple of things since we were last there. What a disappointment! We ordered the calamari and it was mostly peppers, also ordered the Ahi Tuna, the picture on their site AND a picture a friend posted a couple of weeks ago showed a full plate. We received a plate with 1/3 of what is advertised. I got a cheesesteak and there was a small amount of cheese and steak at the bottom of the roll, I had one before from here and it was packed. My husband got the fish, generous portion and he said it was good. All the food was luke warm. I will give the service at the bar 5 stars, they were on their game.

The good: surprisingly large menu. Seemed clean. Fast service, The not so good: quite loud, so just be prepared (they probably would turn down the sports TV if asked). Don't know what to suggest about the patrons... Was salty, but then I ordered nacho chips. They put bacon on the nachos. That is okay, everything is better with bacon, but was a new idea to me. They corrected an erroneous price right away. Worth a visit.

We felt as if we were in England upon entering. Molly took care of us wonderfully. Their cask porter was a real treat. Flaked cod over a lettuce wedge and the lamb shepard’s pie were excellent. Extensive beer offerings of all types. Large menu, great prices. Can’t go wrong.

One observation, sitting a party of one, literally, in the very back corner is so rude. I won't fault the hostess. I imagine it's just practice, and she was very nice. She was so, nice, in fact, that I thought I was imagining it. Then my meal was rushed to me, before others who had ordered before me and before I had taken even two bites of my salad. This is one reason I gave Market Cross Pub 3 stars on atmosphere. The other reason is because it was recommended to me as an authentic English pub. I guess I expected more.
I would still highly recommend Market Cross Pub, just go in pairs or groups.

Have enjoyed dining here in the past. Spent $60 and left hungry and thirsty. The cottage pie was nothing more than densely packed, poorly seasoned dry ground beef topped with potentially instant mashed potatoes and about a dozen pieces of frozen green beans. Second beer ( desperately needed to wash down the pie) didn't arrive before the check so I just left hungry. Send the chef to Trooper Thorns, Ganlys or McCarthy Red Stag to see how it's done.

Haven't had anything bad to eat here yet! But cooks please cut the meat up for your salad's. Everything should be tossed together as well. Shouldn’t have to mix my own salad and cut the meat for it as your bowls are awkward. However the service isn’t exactly up to par. The wait for your drinks to even be taken is kinda ridiculous but you’ll wait even longer for them once they are taken. I feel like they could be more attentive to their customers. Not overly attentive but… if you see your customer not eating its a clear indication that they are done and want their check. Ill still be eating here though. As there isnt really too many good places to eat in this town.

This was the worst experience. We came for Disney event... our food was cold and clearly sitting forever. We arrived at 5:30 and it is currently 8:20 and we still have not been given our check. We never got drink refills or asked if we wanted another alcoholic drink. This was the absolute worst experience here. And we come here often.

Food was excellent and service was great. we were seated in the bar area despite a ton of open seating in the restaurant area and were beneath a speaker blaring absolutely terrible music. 5 stars for the food and service but would really consider turning down the music especially for dinner hour on a Saturday evening
