Went here for lunch yesterday at the last lunch rush of the day before closing. Service was great, the ladies were killing it for being so slammed. Food came out in a timely manner, we were just a little disappointed in the burger. The burger didnt seem to be seasoned. Everything else was perfectly fine and we would still gladly come back, just maybe would get something else instead.
Small but mighty place. Food is very good and prices are very reasonable.
Great place to stop and eat if you are in the Carlisle area. Great service with good fresh food being served.
Best breakfast I have had in a long time. I had the California omelette. Filled with fresh avocado. The fried potatoes were crispy and excellent. The creamed chipped beef was exactly how I remembered it. Will definitely return.
Good family atmosphere with great food
Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!

This place is great. Stopped in on our way through with our 4 kids. They loved the fries and the California wrap. Bridi was our server and she made our kids feel so special! She’s super friendly. Give it a try!
Delicious May's club and diner fries! A rare find in this day and age. Mmmm yummy🤤

Home cooked meals , plenty of food.
Parking: Parking lot is small. When they are crowded it can be hard to find a spot in the lot

My husband and I are cruising the east coast for our 25th anniversary...no rush just relaxing and trying new places. This place did not disappoint!! The smoked pork chop was tender and juicy, smoked to perfection 😋! I had the fried chicken parm and felt it was spot on. My hot coco hit the spot and was so chocolatey❤️. The best part was the waitress Birdi. She was warm and friendly, we talked at length about things we all had in common...it was slow so no other patrons were delayed. Definitely recommend this little family diner as a hidden gem.

We are visiting family from out of state and stopped for breakfast after a recommendation from the hotel where we stayed.
Service was friendly, prompt and kept the coffee hot. We had an excellent breakfast sandwich, the French toast was perfect along w the bacon - Perfectly crisp.
Eggs and rye toast were also very good.
Good chit-chat could be overheard by the locals talking about a recent car show if I understood them correctly.
Classic Americana.

Don't go by online menu prices. Everything we had was a few $'s more. I added lettuce, tomato and mayo. On the bill it was $1.50 more , and they forgot the mayo. I didn't say anything ketchup worked fine. Wing dings are actual buffalo sz. Chicken wings , they need to know the diffrence. My husband got them unsauced as wing dings have preseason. Hubby enjoyed his turkey club. We shared the crab stuffed mushroom slices ( my favorite part). Overall food was enjoyable other then the minor things mentioned, bit now we know. Service was top notch. Very clean n cozy. We are looking forward to going back for breakfast.
