This place used to be a good local diner, but the new management has run it straight into the ground.
They stopped honoring loyalty cards, got rid of the gift card deals people actually liked, and somehow prices keep going up. Sure, they redid the floors so it looks nicer, but it’s pretty obvious customers are paying for that with the inflated menu prices.
The menu has gotten worse too. They dropped diet sodas they used to carry and even managed to mess up something as basic as chicken pot pie by randomly putting ham in it.
The way they treat people is even worse. One of their best minor employees was let go after her mom posted an honest review. Instead of fixing the issues, management pressured them to remove the review from Google or the kid would lose her job. That says everything you need to know.
And to top it off, they won’t even honor gift cards that were purchased under the previous owners.
If you’re going to raise prices, cut options, and treat employees and customers like this, don’t expect the community to keep supporting you.

Middlesex Diner is a must to stop at on road trips. I first heard about the diner from someone who went to college here and try to stop by on my way through PA. There are may breakfast options that are available all day, and that’s usually my go-to. The meals are fairly priced and filling, and the service is excellent.

Perfectly combined menu! American traditional plus a little European touch ! Their menu really has enough of everything ,even if you walk in not so hungry just going trough the menu you will still find more then few items to get you all going 😄 things were prepared quick and properly! Very tasty! And value for money is above average!

This is the most enjoyable place to go and eat and the people that work there really want to be there. Food comes out fast and quality is that of the best there is. The main part of this review is that you have people working that take pride in there job and you hardly ever see this anymore

Would have been REALLY nice if we were told after ordering the Thursday special of CHICKEN pot pie, that it was in fact ham... but not a word was mentioned even when it was brought to the table. Not even good ham either, fatty nasty chunks. Worst food you've ever served Middlesex diner. Quit changing what works...and maybe inform customers PRIOR to serving it that it isn't what they ordered?! The dish washer that came out to restock silverware handled them all by the part that goes in your mouth...not very sanitary & by the way... $8 for 1 slice of pre-cut, frozen cake... disgusting

Well its been years since been here, and well this was worst its ever been.
French toast was 3 piece and 1 of there was mostly cooked. Rest was well undercooked to barely past runny.
I'd give it a 0 out of 5 if I could. Never go back here again.

Man, do I love a great diner. I had the haddock stuffed with crab for dinner last night and the meat lovers omelette for breakfast this morning. Fast friendly service. Everything I'd expect in a diner and more. My waitress dang it I forgot her name now but she was over the top good. She didn't just slap the food down, She was very conscientious. She checked back twice to make sure everything was okay. Highly recommended.
