We were traveling through Carlisle and decided to eat here at the last minute. Everything we ate—everything—was delicious. Shared a pretzel appetizer topped with crabmeat and cheese, followed by haddock and pork entrees, and finished with a slice of homemade coconut cake. The pork was topped with bacon and the accompanying fries were partially cooked in bacon. There was even thought and care put into the vegetables (green bean-wax bean-carrot combo), which are often overlooked. The coconut cake was moist and the best we ever had. Service was really good, ambiance was good, food was great. Highly recommend.

Ate here while attending an event at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. Food and service was fine but their prices alone earned 5 stars in every catagory. Much better prices than my experence in NJ and this was a very nice place.

I had been wanting to come here for a while because I heard the food was good but always forget about it because I mostly go to places that are in downtown Carlisle. Finally, I stopped for dinner in a Tuesday evening in August.
I did wait a few minutes for a hostess. They were pretty busy and they maybe thought I was waiting for someone or that someone else was helping me. Once I was seated the server was with me quickly to get me a drink and then to take my order.
I got the grilled halibut dinner that came with Parmesan risotto and it was so good I could have licked the plate. It was served with a side salad and bread. They were good too but that meal was delicious.
I came back the following Wednesday and had the citrus glazed salmon with sweet potato fries and green beans. This was very good as well. The fries may be the best sweet potatoe fries in town.
Prior to my dinners, I had only ever had tried the cake but including that her me as well. The triple chocolate cake is amazing. People have told me I need to try the coconut cake and I am certain I will do that.
Both times I was here for dinner the servers were friendly and attentive. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area.
They have a big dining area and an outdoor patio.
I thought this would be more of a diner atmosphere but it is not. It is more similar to other sit down dinner restaurants. The vibe is easygoing. There is no bar - not sure on any byob.
The quality of food here is excellent and the service has been great.

We reserve their private room for our Corvette Club dinner. We had 13 people attending. The food came quickly. Our servers were two young men that were very pleasant, efficient and made sure everything was to our liking. Our group was very pleased. Thank you!

The food was great as always!, but the service tonight was very poor! I had to reach over the table to get my drink and salad, the waitress couldn't bother to come around and serve me. We were not offered or served bread, the side salads didn't have crotuns like they normally do. The waitress Brandi did not bring our food or come to ask how things were, didn't see her again till she brought the check. I never received a drink refill so I ate most of my meal without a drink. Couldn't complain about the issues due to eating outside and not seeing any employees. Again the food was great but very disappointed in tonight's service.

Very good service, and good desserts. Large selection of food but pasta overcooked and mushy
Visited twice in the past week and had Rachel as our server both times. She was so attentive and friendly without intruding. Today my daughter had her newborn with her and Rachel was very encouraging to the new mother. The Apple Cider Chicken Salad was very yummy and the dressing really tops it off. All in all, a great dining experience and I will certainly visit again. Great job, Momma Spriggs, and excellent service, Rachel!
Very nice restaurant!!! Would go there again!

I enjoyed the outside patio on this beautiful late-spring evening. There were tables with shade and tables with sunshine. My dinner was the Powerhouse Greek Salad with chicken. It's been a couple of years since they had Greek salads, so this was a welcome treat. The kitchen accidentally put blue cheese on it instead of feta, but it was quickly rectified.
Other choices include seafood dishes, steaks and chops, burgers and sandwiches as well as a nice selection of appetizers.
The cakes and dessert choices are always amazing. Always available are the chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, triple chocolate cake, carrot cake, coconut cake, a cheesecake flavor and crème brulee. Other specials round out the choices.
The food was very good! Service wasn't that great but was passable. The establishment was very nice, clean. A lot of tables inside and outside
Great service, great location, the food is just okay unfortunately.
Absolutely amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was great from start to finish. We had the Rueben with fries and the Hollywood cheeseburger with onion rings and we left no crumbs behind! So delicious. And Rachel, our server, was very nice and attentive. Best lunch outing I’ve had in years!
This is the best restaurant in town. Staff and owners are super great !
