I am a truck driver that typically stays at the hotel that hosts this bar about 2-3 nights a month. I'm a low level regular at best. I'm a truck driver and value the fact that this hotel offers truck parking! Over the past few months I have seen a change in the demographic of the bar attendees and the music playing. I'm happily open to anything or anyone and welcome any conversation being a die hard sports lover. Tonight I 100% was run off and in no uncertain terms was notified by fellow attendees that I wasn't exactly welcome in the bar. I was born & raised in Chicago and have unfortunately spent time in Hotel California about 30 years ago - you know when it's time to go... This wasn't a bar tender thing - it was a clear message from fellow bar attendees. This is a factual statement of my experience at Polo Bar tonight. I hope that your experience there is better than mine was tonight...

Disgusting dive bar, trashy guests, smells like a straight ashtray! Bartender made watered down drinks with an attitude included, never again!!!!
Sad that they can’t keep Barters their especially on a weekend why I don’t come to this place as much any more ?

There a mirror wall that makes it seem bigger and the entrance is around back. However it's a good little dive. Semi parking behind hotel. 8/10 will be back.

Cold beer and good drinks. It's in a hotel, a hole in the wall for those that may not know. Not a problem for me but others may not like it. Prices are decent.
