Been there 3 times…to give it a fair chance. Sub rolls were too thick and tough with not much meat. Hamburger burnt. Chicken parm sandwich was microwaved and still 1/2 cold. French fries… happy to see krinkle-cut (different than most), but over-salted. $14 for a fish sandwich? Everything overpriced. HOWEVER staff very courteous, professional, accommodating.

I ordered the mushroom & Swiss burger. The waitress never asked how I would like it prepared. It came out well done which was disappointing BUT the most disgusting part of it was the long hair in it that I chewed and pulled out of my mouth! Never again will I eat there!

First let me start off by saying, the hoagies here are the closest to an authentic Philadelphia hoagie, especially because the meat is sliced very thin and put on an Amoroso roll which is the key ingredient to a Philadelphia hoagie. But my past experience is what’s leading up to this review…. I ordered a small smoked turkey hoagie as always, and the size was significantly smaller than what I received in the past. I called to ask if they had cut back on the size and they said no. I told them what I received was much smaller (around 4 inches, give or take) than what I usually got from them, and the individual that I spoke to said that there was nothing that they could do and she would relay the message to the owner to give me a call back, and it has now been a few days and I have yet to receive a phone call. I must say I’m highly disappointed because as I mentioned above this place has the closest to an authentic Philadelphia hoagie, the price I paid for the size I received, and no one even attempted to call me back to resolve this matter!!
Service was below average. Took extraordinarly long to get two sandwiches. Wouldn't have minded so much, if the place had been busy, and we couldn't hear the staff chit-chatting and carrying on in the back room . Even at that, my Ruben was pretty well tasteless, except for the charcoal areas where they burned it. My wife's Cuban was okay, but more ham than pulled pork. Probably won't be back.

The staff here are so friendly and kind. It's not easy to go out to eat with three small children but everyone was patient, understanding and kind with my kids it made our experience lovely. We will definitely be coming back.
Kid-friendliness: They have a children's menu with creations to color, both boosters and high chairs, a nice diaper changing station in the women's (not sure about the men's) and the staff were very kind and friendly with my children. 10/10

Everything I've had here has been really good. The Reuben is my favorite but I'm going to have to try the subs since they use Philadelphia rolls. Update Italian sub is on point? Best in Carlisle! Always very clean and quick smooth service. The only wish I have is it was a bit cozier. But that's just a personal preference.
If you are used to a philly cheese steak don't get it here it's not close, but thier hoagies are really good. The hoagies are filled to the brim and are worth the stop. Italian, roast beef and turkey are the ones tried so far, all very good.

I watched from my table as a girl in the back licked her fingers after putting each slice of cake in a to-go container, then proceed to lick the spatula and scrape icing off the cake platter(that the rest of the cake was still on).

Food was excellent. Had a pastrami cheese steak and onion rings. Delicious! Wife had the lobster Bisque and chicken salad sub. She loved it. Waitress was fantastic and had that cafe feel. DEFINITELY GOING BACK!
