Top 3 favorite sandwich shops in the Burgh!! This place and one other are neck and neck for first place in my opinion. My neighbor and I once a week try different Hoagie Shops around Pittsburgh. The crazy thing is I actually lived 5 minutes away from this place and didn’t know it was there sadly. All those years I could’ve been enjoying this and now I am making up for it haha… The Spicy Italian Hoagie is life changing 😂 … Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the people are even better! I’ve only been a handful of times and you truly feel like you’ve known them for years!
One of the best parts is their dining area. Which appears to be an old garage and in the warmer months you can sit with the garage door open while enjoying some of the best food in western PA! If you haven’t been here, stop thinking about it and GO. I also must mention their pasta and bread are made in house! The pierogies are out of this world! I could keep going, but you get the idea.

I used Defelice Deli to cater a birthday party for my wife. The food was excellent and Christy was easy to work with. I had everything delivered and they set all the sterno and heating trays up. I will definitely look at using Defelice again.
Kid-friendliness: I knew from the first time in the store I made the correct choice to have Defelice cater the party as the staff talked to me treating me like a repeat customer.

Ron and his staff always give great service, and if you are looking for a place to cater your next party, look no further than DeFelice’s! Christy was amazing, helping me plan my son’s graduation party menu, and our guests could not stop raving about the food. This deli is a true gem, metropolitan-quality food in a friendly, small-town setting.
