We’ve been looking for an amazing Thai restaurant since moving to Mt. Lebanon and finally tried Thai Suan Thip. Woah! The food here is AMAZING!Everything is fresh, amazing quality, and absolutely delicious. The owners are very nice, and you can tell they care about what they do.Yes, it is a bit further from some places in Dormont or South Side, but this place easily competes with Noodlehead for food taste and quality. If you want good Thai food, go here. Curry dishes: bomb. Pad see ew, my wife's favorite: bomb. Spicy Thai basil fried rice: bomb. Shrimp tempura: amazing. Veggie soup with tofu: wow, the butteriest tofu ever. When you order from Thai Suam Thip, you are essentially saying you want the chef, Joy, to make you a meal. She's the only person who prepares the food. And it's incredible. Takeout only these days.
