Bar Louie is a lively spot with a charming atmosphere, featuring photos of celebrities. The restaurant serves generous portions, including cheeseburger sliders, wings, and French onion soup. The Tuesday special $8 craft burgers with tots or fries are popular, especially if you upgrade the fries or tots to fully loaded cheese and bacon for only $2 extra. The meat is fresh, and the fries are cut fresh.
The atmosphere and service are exceptional, with the server Ken going above and beyond to accommodate first-time customers. The calamari was too crunchy, and the chicken fingers were dry and tough, but the Monterey chicken, fish and chips, and chicken caesar salad were good. The women's room needs some attention, but the nice size bar with plenty of TVs makes it a good venue for gatherings.
