Owner very very rude. Will not return or recommend
Today I took my granddaughter for her sixth birthday to have a REAL tea party! We were greeted with your too early sit in the waiting area!
We then were called to be seated, one of the guest we had was gluten free! Everything was good up until the dessert, all the plates looked the same and I asked the owner if this was gluten free she said yes, the waitress returned with the GLUTEN FREE plate! The non gluten plate was almost gone when our waitress dropped it off. The waitress was apologizing up and down and we reinsured her everything was okay it was an accident! The owner returned and threw the check on the table and said pay your bill and get out of my place of business. No one was yelling! The owner was so nasty to us in front of the whole establishment and in front of my granddaughter! I would never return to this place I would not even recommend!
I liked the tea experience but the owner needs an attitude adjustment. She clearly doesn't enjoy your job and the whole vibe is "hurry up and get out after spending $50 on hot water". I would rethink going here given the negative vibe created by her.
Lovely atmosphere. Food fresh and delicious. Several interesting tea options. Highly recommend.

Tucked away in beautiful Bucks County is the most charming and delightful teahouse. If you’re looking for a true tea experience this is your place. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a warm welcome from staff and the smell of baked scones coming from the kitchen. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated with a twist of feeling like you’re at grandmother’s house! Now the best part, the food- Owner/Chef Patti is gifted with creativity in the kitchen. Her menu is made fresh daily and seasonal. Close your eyes and try to guess the flavors- absolutely incredible! Thank you Patti for allowing us the opportunity to relax, indulge and connect through a pot of tea!

Scones were ok. Tea sandwiches were not good. Bread did not taste fresh and did not care for flavors of fillings. The only thing I liked was the mini shepherds pie. Only give you 2 desserts and both were way too overly sweet. Did not eat. Also did not like how meal was served. They served the courses separately instead of the normal 3-tier dish. With scones only gave you clotted cream - no lemon curd or jam. Server did not even want to give us a second clotted cream for 4 of us. I would give the whole experience 1 star. Will not return.

My friends & I having been coming here for many years for our annual tea. We love this place. The tea selection is wonderful. The scones, soup, little sandwiches, & desserts are delicious. We are never rushed & receive great service. Anthony is a sweetheart. :)Edited to update: Our group has found elsewhere to hold our annual gathering. The food is still good, but the staff/owner was not hospitable. We were chided for asking a question before she “had the chance to tell us” & we were also rushed out, no longer able to linger. Unfortunate.

Monthly Morning Bookclub at The Talking Teacup:When driving to The Talking Teacup this morning, I was ready to be pampered and I was not disappointed! Staff welcomed us like family to a beautifully set table with an assortment of teas followed by several delicious breakfast /brunch treats …… many of which highlighted the theme of the book we just read. I wish I had taken a pic of the sweet little “teapot “ cookie balanced on my bone china teacup! Conversation is always lively among a diverse group of ladies offering their perspective on this month’s book selection. Faces may change periodically but the demeanor of the room is always friendly and respectful . Thank you for a lovely experience once again and I hope to see you all next month!

I was one of 6 guests for lunch on Mother's Day. The servers were excellent as was the food. The tea sandwiches were our favorite part of the meal. Great variety and plenty to eat. We've already reserved a table to dine again. Thank you for an amazing experience!
