My wife and I went for Valentines Day and this place did not disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was awesome and the owners were very friendly! I can’t believe we haven’t heard of this place but we will be coming back again for sure. There aren’t many places like this in Chalfont so I would say this is a must if you’re in the area.

1720 Bar & Restaurant is a gem! The atmosphere is fantastic—cozy, yet lively—and the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were crafted to perfection. Whether it’s for a casual night out or a special occasion, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommend!"

Made a reservation online same day for 7pm, menu looked good! Arrived with my wife, bar/resturant was closed with chairs resting on tables showing not open. There was an event where people we're coorgraph dancing??? Called when we arrived at the front desk because nobody was there, and nobody picked up the phone. Drove 30 minutes for no reason and left. Website shows nothing that the resturant is closed (open sign was lighted up). Afterwards, You have to click on special events on the website to see they had a event but doesn't show the resturant is closed to the public... Another couple at the same time emtered and said the same thing. Never been here before, wouldn't try again because there is no way to know if they are actually open. Just a total waste of time, very upsetting for date night. Got a text later they canceled our reservation??? What a joke, would be incredibly embarrassed if I was the owner.

Terrible first time experience. Had reservations it never said it would be at a table in a loud open room with line dancing. Terrible for a couple who were looking forward to a date night . Now stuck looking for another place to have a nice dinner on a Saturday night. To hear “oh you didn’t know.” like didn’t even care. First time here never trying it again.
Great food, great mixed drinks

New Year’s Eve at 1720 was Horrible I’m embarrassed that I invited 9 friends. 45 minute wait in line to get a drink. All food became scarce. No coffee ,salad, vegetables or even bread and butter. SUCK
Just had a birthday celebration at 1720 and not only was it the best party I have ever had in my 69 years, planning with Galina was wonderful, the space was warm and inviting, the food was EXCELLENT and the staff, well now I made a new friend. Four days after my party I had to go back for dinner and drinks in that same space. All of my friends who attended loved it as well!!!

Overpriced, below average food quality. unfinished bar/ambience. Vindicative, catty and unprofessional customer service. Don’t waste your time. Very mean owner.

We went out for a date night based on the reviews. Actually, I was a bit hesitant because of the owner's responses to any negative reviews, which were quite off putting. On a weekend night we arrived and couldn't figure out how to get inside. I understood that the restaurant was part of the event space, but there was no signage pointing you to where that was specifically. We walked around the building and found the doors near the "open" sign were all locked. We eventually made it in and must have looked confused when we saw a few tables in a ballroom, not at all what we were expecting .We didn't find a hostess, just a woman who greeted us with "you good?". The atmosphere was uncomfortable (not really a restaurant, just a wedding place looking for business in the off season). A single waitress was running the whole show. I overheard her telling the table next to us how all the food is made from scratch. We waited for our scratch made food for over an hour and what I got was appalling, frozen, cafeteria quality food. It should not have been served in what they called an upscale restaurant. We were so disappointed and couldn't wait to leave. I was ashamed to have suggested it for our date. I debated writing this review, given how the owner seems to respond to reviews, but hopefully it can save a date night or two.

This was a wonderful dining experience. Ali was our waitress and she was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything is made in house, and it shows. Very unique and delicious. We will definitely be back.
