Passing through the area and found AKI .
The food was reasonably priced and the portions were large. Quality of the food was beyond what I was expecting . Ling , our waiter, was attentive and courteous.
Although it was very busy, we only waited a few minutes to be seated.
Plan stopping here again on my way back home. Got to have some more Avocado sushi.

We visited Aki tonight and the staff went above and beyond for us to have a great meal! My sister is allergic to shrimp and scallops and they told her they most likely would have to cook her food in the back to be safe which we were totally fine with but they surprised us by cooking everything in front of us but waiting to cook the shrimp and scallops until they plated her food I already love Aki but this will forever be in my mind when I'm looking to go out for a meal in the future.

We had a very disappointing experience at this Japanese hibachi restaurant on Valentine’s Day. We made a 7:30 PM reservation and arrived on time, but weren’t seated until 8:00 PM—even though there were empty tables. When we asked the host, she said they were waiting for another party to fill the table instead of seating us, even though another couple with the same reservation time was also waiting. Those extra guests never showed up, yet we were still made to wait.

Once seated, service didn’t improve. No one came to take our order until we asked, and we weren’t even given water for about 20 minutes. The hibachi chef provided no interaction or entertainment at all—no greeting, no performance, nothing that makes hibachi dining special. He simply cooked quietly and left. Portions were also inconsistent; some plates had more food while others barely had any.

To make matters worse, my husband became very sick within 24 hours with vomiting and diarrhea, and I also felt slightly unwell. When we called the restaurant, they dismissed our concerns, saying no one else had reported issues.

We’ve been here before, but the quality has clearly gone downhill. For the high price, the experience and service were absolutely not worth it. We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it.

Made a reservation on Tuesday for Valentine’s Day (Saturday) for 5:45. Show up at 5:20 on Valentine’s Day and wait in line for 25 minutes to check in. Wait until 6:10 and still didn’t get seated. Ended up leaving rather than wait in a crowded foyer with 40 other people.
What’s the point of making a reservation 5 days in advance if I’m just going to wait the same amount of time or longer than someone who didn’t make a reservation? What made it even worse is that they kept track of the reservations by handwriting them on a blank piece of paper. It looked like a 7th graders open ended English exam.

I Love this Place !!!!! My first experience here this week and won't be my last..Date night here and was amazing!
MUSSELS were amazing, Rice was soft and Light, Generals Chicken was flavored Perfectly and fell apart, and Sushi was Great...

Only complaint, not flavored Aloe Water......oh oh, salad dressing was unique and excellent! And bill.was super reasonable...Slam Dunk here

From their sushi to their hibachi, Aki's food is always delicious! We usually have Benny as our server and he is the best! Service and food are both excellent! We always leave full and happy. Highly recommend!

Restaurant is very dirty, bathrooms even worse. Ate here one time and everyone was ready to set on the toilets when we got home.
