Our experience here was very good. We met a very nice young man named Mena and had a wonderful conversation with him. Our dinner was very good and service excellent. We would recommend this to you to tey.

On May 24th Saturday my husband and I stopped in to have breakfast at 10:00. We sat down and ordered breakfast. Our waitress was an older lady short gray hair. I didn’t have a place setting, and they didn't have any teaspoons, so she gave us a teaspoon for tea with a long handle. The place wasn't even busy. Then she brought our order out, she also had another order on her tray. She didn’t have my toast ready and said it would be right out. Then mixed up my breakfast with the other table’s order. She took back both the plates that were mixed up into the kitchen, like she was going to have them remade. She came right back within seconds and gave me my correct meal. Everything was cold and we asked her to take both breakfasts back and put them in the microwave. There's nothing worse than cold food to be served at a restaurant. Then we had to ask for our milk because she forgot it. The prices were very expensive, and the portions were very small. I've never seen such a small portion of potatoes. She kept apologizing and said it wasn't my fault I picked up the food just as soon as it was ready. If she did it wouldn't have been cold. We did tip her although she didn’t deserve it. When we went to pay the guy host at the counter asked how the food was. My husband said awful, and I said we won't be back ever. He said why we start explaining it to him and while we were talking, another waitress came to the counter and the host said you're going home and he yelled at her, then he yelled across the room at two other waitresses. This was all being taken place while he had our money in his hand. My husband said take care of this later give me my change. It was ridiculous you don't yell in front of customers, in public. So, if you're feeling down and you want to get a little more depressed, go to the Sunshine Diner in Chambersburg for breakfast, you will surely be disappointed!

So today, my parents and I decided to go somewhere that's quick to make food because we had somewhere to go. Usually they are quick with it but today was not it. To start off our server had little to no english and you can barely understand him. Other than that he was a very sweet man. Now i did overhear this one waitress she has a boy haircut like brownish with blonde id say. She was very and i mean very disrespectful to the other costumers and her coworkers. I have never been so disappointed and upset about a situation.

Recently moved to the area and had family visiting who wanted to go out to eat for breakfast. Our usual diner was blocked from a festival going on downtown so we decided to check this diner out. The service was really good. Very friendly and we got seated quickly with a waitress immediately attending us. Unfortunately the food was not good which is surprising because you really can’t mess up breakfast. One family member asked for cheese in his eggs but a mound of cheese was just melted on top of his scrambled eggs and the scrambled eggs were not scrambled but in a solid clump. The food lacked flavor and the pancakes were dry and dense. Upon talking to locals they informed us the restaurant had recently been sold due to being shut down due to not passing inspection. It sounds like the new owners have a long road ahead of them and we will not be going back here.

Cheesesteak omelet barely had meat in it. Bland, no seasoning. Potatoes were awful. Soaked in grease. Bland, no seasoning. Buttered toast tasted more like an oil than butter. Do you get your cooking oil from Pennzoil or Quaker State? Extremely cheap, tasteless oil that ruined the food. Portion size for the price was ridiculous too. One and done. I'll never return. Fool me once...

Typical diner atmosphere. Friendly staff. Diner under new management for about a year. The place was virtually empty at 1430 on a Saturday afternoon.
Food was OK - nothing outstanding,, just average.
The creamed beef got decent marks as did the burgers, the omelets were a bit dry and the has browns undercooked.
