Friendly service. Stick with the breakfast menu though. The burgers are not very good. Not seasoned, cool in the middle, fries are over done. Breakfast is the safest bet at Denny's.
Our waitress was absolutely awesome. She deserves all five stars. However, the food was good awful. I'm not picky. I'll eat most anything but this wasn't really food. The plus is the pancake puppies which are crazy good. However, the rest of our food was gross. Just being honest.
Food was great. The waitress was a ditz. Why ask what we want to drink if it takes you 10 minutes to bring it to the table. Not like you were busy... Just saying
Service was horrible- the waitress took about 15 minutes to get to us before we even ordered, she took her good time getting back to us, our orders were wrong, the waitress only had 2 tables and kept disappearing. We had to send another waitress to go find her. There were a lot of extra chargers put on our bill. When we told her it was wrong she huffed, rolled her eyes, and took it from me. The manager ended up fixing it.
I have never been to Denny's before! Very comfy cozy breakfast place with gluten free options! Family friendly! If you are kosher, they have a turkey bacon alternative.
We stopped going to the Denny's on Wayne Ave in Chambersburg for a while because the food quality was poor and the service wasn't good. But we gave it another try and went back recently. The food came out within 10-15 minutes and it was very good.
Its okay. Cheep eating. Have some great entries. The cinnamon pancakes are sinfully sweet and delectable. The rest is reheated frozen food. Do in a pinch.
My insides have never felt so rejuvenated! Its to the point where consuming Dennys gives the bowels an ethic cleansing almost similar to that of a bewitched pygmy. By far this place is a holy blessing, to which even the heathen must rejoice. Would recommend this establishment to any worthy traveler seeking to fulfill his hunger and quench his thirst! Perhaps our paths might cross again, so that even my nourishment be replenished.
We had a table of six and stopped into Denny's around 130 am after work. There were only 3 tables that had people at them. Most of the restaurant was empty. Despite having almost no customers in the restaurant, we only saw our waitress when she took our orders and delivered our food. None of us got refills the entire time we were eating there. One of the guests from our table actually went up and had to peek into the back to tell the waitress we all needed refills because all of the waitresses were in the back for an extended period of time. We waited about 20 minutes and only 1 of us got a refill. We waited a little while longer to see if our waitress would bring our drinks back but she never did so we just requested our check. We all had individual checks except for 1 couple that was together. She brought our checks back 3 times because she kept forgetting what we had ordered and all of the checks were wrong. We ended up having to go up to the counter to all tell her what we ordered again so she could ring us up correctly. With the lack of customers in the restaurant, the lack of quality service was unacceptable. I use to be a loyal customer. I went to this Denny's several times a week and the staff always knew exactly what I ordered and how I liked it cooked. This Denny's has definitely gone downhill over the years and I don't know if I'll ever return to this location.
Breakfast this morning was terrific, I couldn't eat it all. Very friendly staff and got food really quick. Very clean. Will stop there again for lunch.

I overall enjoy going to this place. The food is very good and the cook is very skilled. But, unfortunately my last encounter at this restaurant dissapointed me! I placed an order to go, because my partner and I had plans, and we expected to wait around 30 minutes total for our meal. We entered the restaurant and waited about 15 minutes for our order just to be taken! Once we placed our order, we waited about another 30 minutes for our food. Once returning all the way back to our destination, we opened our containers and the food items were incorrect. We paid $25 for our food order. I called back and explained the situation, and the manager on duty was very busy, so she explained that she would have to call back. I explained I would come in later and get a refund for my items. The food we had was still edible, although poor quality, we didn't have the time or stomach to wait! and because we had other plans we just ate the food and made up for the missing parts! We had already waited close to an hour total. I was patient, and came back in. Mr. M the owner, came out and spoke to me, but did not let me explain the situation. Snatched my receipt, and the empty food containers I had, and told the manager “Don't give them nothingâ€. Again, I did not want to waste food and be hungry for the time being. Unprofessional as ever, he turned around and left. Very hot-tempered towards a customer. The manager on duty was very professional about it! But the owner himself was not! I've never had an issue with my food at this place. The staff is always friendly. But, the day that the owner is on board, I do encounter a problem.
This was a decent Denny's. Inside was clean, outside was dirty though cause trash was everywhere. The waitress wasn't that good cause she was the only one trying to help about 10 tables. Food was really good and made fast. And the prices are always really good.
I normally only get breakfast at Denny's. On this particular trip, I chose to get a burger. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast burger with a well done egg. The burger seemed like it was real beef, which is what I prefer versus fast food frozen patties. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our group of six's needs. I would come back again. I thought some other meals looked appetizing to try as well.
Was seated promptly and that was the best part of the experience. Waitress input our order incorrectly, kept bringing us food we didn't order and after 45 minutes we had most of the correct food. Waitress insisted we keep a sausage we didn't order that put in on our bill although the "manager" was nice enough to take that $0.79 off the bill then ask me if there was anything else he could do for me that day. Never going back.
