I have been coming here for going on 10 years and this is like the best place in all of Chambersburg. I’ve lived in Chambersburg my whole life. They are so good at what they do and are always so friendly. I’m a vegetarian and I get the special tacos with beans and rice and they always do amazing. My fiancé gets Carne Asada’s, which are amazing as well. Everything you get here is great. The green salsa is to die for. They have such good quality ingredients and are always so generous with their portions as well as affordable. Over the years me and my fiancé have had many dates at Checko‘s and it’s nice to keep coming back over the years and still have such good quality for such a good price. Love you checkos!!

I chose this place because of the reviews. however now I’m wondering what food they ate because I got 3 carne asada street tacos and not only was the meat so tough I couldn’t even finish them but THERES WAS NO SEASONING. Literally just tasted like cooked meat. I tried to put my salsa verde on them to help. And it did not. THE SALSA HAD NO FLAVOR OR SPICE 🤦🏾♀️ very irritating considering I’m pregnant craving tacos. I woulda went and got my money back or something but it wasn’t worth going back into the heat.

First of all, the place lacks atmosphere and vibe, at least some music would have improved the experience. I ordered the “special steak tacos” and they were excellent. However, the horchata I ordered was watery and unfortunately disgusting; and although I was only was able to take a sip and had to ask for a different drink, I was still charged for it.
The quality of the food was excellent and I would probably order again, but to-go, and skip the horchata.

Me and my kids come here often sometimes every other day l feel like they have the best Taco’s in town the only thing l ask for is if you guys are sold out of something l want, please don't just give me scraps or mixed up meat and ladies if you serve something wrong please make it right instead of apologizing and do nothing l love the tacos the prices are great Thank you

Very friendly location for a meal. Really like how clean the restaurant is. The doorway is wide enough for a wheelchair. Paid parking so expect to use a couple quarters. Was recommended by a friend of mine so I hope you enjoy a meal here like we did.
