El Jalisco Authentic Mexican Food

Best Mexican restaurant to eat at and everything is so delicious I hope they reopened back I miss eating here so much

Sad to report they are closed. They just went away one weekend and never came back. Really enjoyed the food. They had the best guacamole of any of the Mexican restaurants around Chambersburg. In fact the number of other established Mexican restaurants in the area and their location was probably to their detriment.

The fries are out of this world delicious.
Horchata is so delicious and a sweet refreshing treat.
Service is friendly and welcoming.
It's very clean and smells nice when you walk in.

Bland food, salsa and atmosphere. Salsa tastes like stewed tomatoes blended with raw onion. Salsa verde tasted like vinegar. Chips were not salted and still had a ton of oil. My son was happy with his cheeseburger and fries. Portions were ok, flavor was lacking.

Very clean, relaxing environment. Food is amazingly authentic at decent prices!!

Got 2 marinated pork tacos and 2 chorizo tacos. Menu in person was in English so it through me for a loop. They have tacos de cabeza (head) and lengua (tongue) on the menu but didnt have them available when I was ordering. The caliente/hot salsa was actually spicy so that was a pleasant surprise. If you are into tacos I would definitely recommend checking it out. I will definitely be back

I was concerned about coming in on a Friday, expecting it to be busy. Not! Just me and another family. Steady takeout, though.

No Bar. It is definitely a Jalisco menu similar but with many touches like grilled cactus and other trimmings.

Prices fair, tableware restaurant standard with medium weight flatware and glass cups.

Corn tortilas are offered along with flour as you choose. Very nice
Shrimp had tails in the fajitas. Which means eating you have to de-tail before or spit out tails after
Not the nicest for tableware manners yet they do add flavor and certainly worth the work. All in all, a nice meal.
I spoke to the other family and this is their go-to place. They like the food and is quiet, which is good for the child. They love the food

This is a good choice for something a little different. Nice enough, not crowded and good food
However, with two other Mexican restaurants within shouting distance, there are other choices too.

Great little Mexican Restaurant! Nice people, awesome tacos!!

With all the good reviews we were looking forward to trying the Mexican food from here, but the delivery (using Slice) results were not good. The sauces from both meals had leaked out of the containers when I opened the bag... what a mess!
The chicken burrito was little itty-bitty pieces of chicken with no flavor. The chicken fajita was very good but lukewarm.
And, the guacamole con chips... NO chips were in the bag. So, I called the restaurant and stated all the above... and the girls answer was "sorry, we will try to do better next time". Nope, there will NOT be a next time!!

Absolutely everything you want in good Mexican / Hispanic food , wonderful people,great food, atmosphere was great low easy music , this was a great stop on my family vacation, Thank you!
