The best bar I’ve been to in Chambersburg. It really ticks all the boxes of what you want when you go to a proper bar. Good pool table, good beer, liquor, and pizza. I have to say I thought the town shut down at sundown but Fran’s keeps it goin’. Glad to see it and if you’re looking for a good bar this is definitely listed. Not really for hipsters, but definitely for folks.

Small ! ! Neighborhood tavern. Friendly staff. Pool table; pa skill games. Being in a small neighborhood, finding a parking space can be a challenge.
It is definitely under the covid bylaws. Great place to visit

Judging from the pictures Frans looks about the same as at did 25 years ago when me and the fellas were there quite regularly. Yuengling still on tap, pool table, juke box the only thing missing now is Fran’s Corned beef, cabbage and potatoes.
