Best chip beef and gravy around! Nice size portions and the prices are fair for the economy! Always fast and the girls there are always super friendly.

Like this place alot, but the staff on this day were very unfriendly. No one greeted us when we checked out or was friendly at all. The worst part was no thank you at the end of the transaction. Really? We'll be back, but will be in no hurry.

I'm incredibly embarrassed to say I've lived near Chambersburg for over twenty years and this place has escaped my attention. It must be the grungy location.

Our server was an absolute sweetheart and was exactly what I wanted in an old school small restaurant.

My omelette was incredible and I'll be back for that breakfast! Yum. I'm still excited about it a week later! The home fries were crispy and amazing, EXACTLY how I like them.

The place could use a little upgrading.

The prices were reasonable in today's steeply climbing financial climate.

We've been to Johnnie many times, usually the food is great. Today we went there just to have salad, the last time I visited, 2 weeks ago, the chefs salad was great, fresh veggies, with House Dressing. Today we got 2 chef salads and 1 Greek. We were really disappointed when they arrived at our table. The greens weren't crispy, and the tomatoes were meh
Not a great lunch, after having wonderful salads 2 weeks ago.

We eat here almost every Friday night and have not had a bad meal yet!

Disgusting place to eat and owners are trash bugs hang around and I found hair in my food told them they laughed it off and I walked out never again he was also my old Lanlord in Greencastle 227 south Antrim way don’t do it these guys are slums for the business they own mold all over my old bathroom and kitchen for years they don’t do nothing and when you have enough and tell them about it they will just boot you out and laugh it off save your money spend it elsewhere crooks of businessman sad I didn’t even know they owned this place till I moved to chambersburg and I complained about hair in my food they laughed it off told me to leave just don’t waste your time eating here or getting apartments they own

Very enjoyable restaurant to dine in, I mean dine out, or dine at. My wife and I enjoy Johnnie's very much. Great food, lots of choices, fast service, reasonable prices, and nice and friendly workers. Thanks Johnnie's!
