The Orchards Restaurant

We went to The Orchards for our wedding rehearsal dinner. The food, drinks and service were all wonderful! The room was amazing and quiet.

I had come back to Shippensburg for homecoming and met someone at this restaurant. The is a big, beautiful restaurant. Very expensive restaurant and the food was average at best. They tacked on 3% charge if you used your credit card to pay. For the money I don't think that it was really worth it.

I can't say enough good things about The Orchards / Relax! I've dined at their restaurant and sat at the bar in Relax, both experiences are top-notch. The food is always outstanding: creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Their drink menu is just as impressive! But what really sets this place apart is the people. Every staff member I've encountered genuinely seems to care. They're warm, attentive, and often go above and beyond to make you feel special. I've celebrated my bridal shower, family baby showers, gender reveals, a family wedding, & rehearsal dinners, you name it. Every single event has been seamless, from room setup to timing, to food and service. They have an elegant yet comfortable feel that makes guests feel both impressed and relaxed. If you're in the Chambersburg area (or even beyond), The Orchards / Relax is a must-visit — whether for a casual dinner, a night out at the bar, or one of life's big celebrations.

It was a wonderful meal. I loved everything about it. Very professional upscale feel. Love the hot hand towels. Service was great. Food was delicious.

The Orchard Restaurant is awesome. We dined in a private room celebrating my birthday and the food and service was exceptional. The appetizers of steamed clams and crab balls were delicious. We chose the crab lumps augratin and could not stop saying how great the dish was. For a fine dining experience, this is the place to come!

Our server, Doug, was perfectly attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Drinks were also great. We had Sea bass, sous vide chicken, Greek potatoes, salads, sautéed zucchini blend. All was perfectly portioned and cooked. We will be back.

We had dinner at the Orchards for our anniversary. The young man that was our waiter wished us a happy anniversary and was an excellent waiter. We received a free dessert of a sticky bun with vanilla ice cream and a small box of Zoe's chocolate. Very enjoyable evening. Thanks!

For our first time having dinner there we were pleasantly surprised. We really enjoyed ourselves. We will return.

The salmon is excellent. Service staff went out of their way to get what we wanted and were courteous all through.

Took My Dad to this restauraunt for the first time last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised. When you walk in the first impressions were, very nice. Our waiter was super kind and the service was great. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed our dinner...We cant wait to go back..

Our meals came 15 minutes apart. The filet mignon was totally overcooked. Part of our order was missing and we were not offered anything for the horrible service. Totally disapointed save your money.

It was a wonderful dining experience ! The filet was done perfectly The ahi tuna was very good ! The cocktails and deserts were extra yummy ! The service was perfect and the owner Mike couldn’t have been nicer ! See you again Shane and Steve Thank you for your hospitality!

Ate there 2 days in a row upscale establishment great food non better lamb, spanakopita, spinach pie, meatballs, wings, shrimp, the waiter Vince, Ryan, thank you and a great big hug to Charlie the uncle's daughter,😋 so nice

My husband and I was at the Orchard Restaurant for our 22nd anniversary. We had asked for a private room, so we could just enjoy each other. We closed the door, so it could be quiet and romantic. We had a very nice server that was very attentive. My husband had the haddock and I had the crab augratin as our entrees. My husband enjoyed the haddock as usual.bThe crab augratin was a little disappointing this time and that's why I gave a four for the food. I had it in June and it was outstanding. I enjoyed it so much I couldn't wait to return to Chamberburg to order it again. This time it was swimming in a cream sauce that took away from the taste of the crabmeat. It also didn't have the same amount of crabmeat in it. It seemed like the cream sauce was used to fill the baking dish. Maybe there was a different chef and the person makes it different. However the evening was a beautiful one that we still enjoyed. The Orchard Restaurant is elegant and we can't wait to go back again.

Rude server, steak and bread both served burnt and late and another never got the vegetables he ordered. Lovely place, the owners are wonderful people, the menu is full of fantastic choices and usually perfection, service is usually outstanding and tonight the server was awful and petty. We will definitely be back and know how great they usually are.
