Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar

Wings were breaded expensive mush. Who breads chicken wing? Sandwiches taste nothing like the original in the strip district. They are corporate now. No truth to the roots.

We were traveling with a youth travel softball team and had an incredibly long day filled with rain delays and travel. By the time evening rolled around, our group of players and parents were tired, hungry, and struggling to find a place that could accommodate us. After being turned away by a local pub, we called Primanti Brothers—and from the very first phone call, we were treated like family.

The staff, including the manager, went above and beyond to welcome our group. They were more than accommodating, making sure everyone had what they needed, refilling drinks promptly, and creating a comfortable, friendly atmosphere for our players and parents. After such a long day, their kindness and hospitality truly meant a lot.

The service was exceptional, the food hit the spot, and the overall experience was one we’ll remember for all the right reasons. Thank you, Primanti Brothers in Chambersburg, for showing what great service looks like. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Food for the whole family even my picky child loves it here and the drinks are good

I ate at primanti bros in Hagerstown & other locations all the time and loved it but chambersburg is way different or they changed ingredients because food was not good at all. Also got a pizza one time and it had layers I mean. LAYERS of like oregano or whatever seasoning they put on it as if it accidentally spilled. I did cal@ about it & they gave us a gift card & a refund so they did make it right & were very nice which is a plus but food isn’t great

Excellent. I am in a wheelchair, the manager opened the door for us and had a table ready for us too accommodate the wheelchair.

This is not the Primanti Bros I know. I have been to other locations and the food service and menu were all drastically different. We went in and there was one other table of four and two people at the bar. Our entire table was waiting for drinks to be refilled for so long while our waitress chatted with co workers. The food was not as good as other locations. I added an egg to my order but they added and charged me for bacon instead. I was the one who picked this place to eat and was so disappointed by the service. You are able to see into the kitchen I watched as half the tables food sat there and got cold while they finished the rest. Two of our group ordered burgers they were overcooked. Again I felt so bad for recommending this place to the group.

The food and service are acceptable to good.
The atmosphere, unless you like multiple games played too loudly on lots of TV's, is terrible.
When you can't hear yourself eating, nevermind carrying on a conversation with a friend, you are in a bad place.
Fies were good as well as the buffalo wings.
Most items are not fresh and over cooked

It was a perfect stop for linner. We were plenty hungry and the specialty burgers carried us over for the rest of the day.

Music Bingo was fun. Kids enjoyed the pizza and fries. Can't beat the family meal deal for $ 20. Cheese steak was good. Server was amazing. Overall, I would say, read the reviews and stay away from certain sandwiches but there are good options and if you come on an event night, it can be a fun date night for couples/families.

Very delicious wings

I’ve been to this location too many times to count and I think that I only had one bad experience. Too much oil on my sandwich. I wouldn’t leave a bad review though due to a one time incident. I guess I don’t understand why others would too? Especially when they start off by saying that they love Primanti Bros. I won’t hurt a location with a bad review due to one or two bad times. Especially a restaurant that I was highly hoping would come to town. Every place one visits will eventually have a bad experience.

This was a bad time! Let me start by saying I love Primanti Bros and have gone to several locations and they've all been great. But this location was not it. We were some of the only customers. We recieved cold food. The waitress was not attentive. Pizza was really awful, and usually they have great pizza. I hate complaining so much maybe there's valid reasons why this location sucked that day. I just will go somewhere else next time.
