Just had an outing at Highlands and had a great time. The course was in top shape. You could not ask for nicer and more accommodating people in the pro shop and lounge. The food and views from the deck were excellent. Will definitely be back with our group when we return to 7 springs.

Great experience

Nice view. Chicken salad wrap was pretty good. Bloody Mary was good. It’s a way to get food in your belly after golf, but pretty good.

Great views. Terrible bartender. She's the most unfriendly, condescending, and unpleasant person we've met at Seven Springs. Bring your own drinks and risk it to avoid any interaction with her at all.

I was looking forward to attending a conference at Seven Springs Resort. I had never been there, and it looked amazing on the web site. I booked a room online with the conference code. When I checked in, I was told that I hadn't booked it at the conference rate. This meant I was charged $100 more/night. I was told about a shuttle to my room. I said I would walk but was told I couldn't walk because it was too far and it wasn't safe (to walk along road). So, before I even got to the room, I was wondering how I booked a room so far away and how the code didn't take. After checking out, I called to ask for an itemized receipt, since the one I received by email only had the total payment for 3 nights. The front desk gave me a number. They sent me back to the front desk. And on, and on. Warning--call to get the distance from the center of the resort (restaurants, indoor/outdoor pool, main activities) because it's still not something I can find on the web site. I attend a lot of conferences and have never had a bad experience at a conference hotel/site until this one.

I have loved Seven Springs from the first time I came here for my grade school graduation trip in 1973!! That was exactly 50 years ago!! To summarize, Vail Resorts will have to seriously consider bringing gambling here to save the resort!!

Absolutely terrible stay in Fieldstone chalet. Moldy bathrooms and ants coming out of the drains in the tub. Wallpaper peeling from the walls and no shower curtain in the upstairs area. Expensive stay and nothing was open except on Friday, Saturday and Sunday which wasn’t shown on the website.

I hit Seven Springs two different weekends in 2023: Jan 21 with family of 3 kids and Feb 25 with a buddy. Couple key differences both trips and overall pros/cons from a family that typically hits Wisp in Deep Creek: Jan. v. Feb. in 2023 Got better snow in Jan; 4 inches more during the day. Should have stayed longer. Seven Springs is higher elevation than we expected, and about 20 minutes away temps drop and rain turns to snow. Both visits, half of the back lifts (near Lost Girl) were closed. These should all get opened more often. Waits at main lift were about 10-15 minutes both times. In late Feb., anywhere without fake snow was basically mud and grass. Condo v. Resort Resort = more convinient. Condo = easier meals at home (only if you bring food with you, since there are ZERO grocery stores around). Tip on CONDO: School bus comes by every 15-20 minutes with ski holders on the outside. Bad idea to take the bus if you're staying after 8:30/9PM. They have to call a smaller white bus and it took them 30 minutes to come and get us. Should have driven the 5 minutes back to the condo. Hotel was in good shape - stayed on 8th floor. Ski check is free at front of hotel. Nightlife Saturdays are WAY better than Sunday nights, which seemed dead. Kids get kicked out of the bar areas around 9:30/10, so if you come with kids, don't plan to hang out late. Saturdays can go very late. Bar dancing at Foggie Goggle was great. Lots of folks from nearby Pittsburgh in town. Bars Foggy Goggle was fantastic. 5-6 open bars there during the day into evening. Sunday they close most un-used bars and keep 1-3 open. Matterhorn gets crowded after 10pm. Seven Springs v. Wisp (Runs, Trick Parks, Food, Stuff to Do): Our kids found the runs at Seven Springs more challenging. Many runs, esp. Lost Girl, were much longer and we enjoyed them. 7 Springs trick parks (about 3 of them) were much more elaborate and longer. Bars + restaurants + bakery + staff + mountain = better at Seven Springs. 7 Springs had a DJ on back hills with Adirondack chairs to rest. That was nice! Deep Creek has way more to do outside of Wisp (arcades, breweries, restaurants, etc). We absolutely missed having a Grocery Store at Seven Springs; should have brought all of our breakfast/snack/drink essentials from home for Seven Springs. The little convenience store up the road doesn't cut it only has beer/wine/coffee/light food options. Overall Recommendations: -Get your epic passes early and hit 7 Springs; stay at the resort OR checkout airbnb townhouse options, which can be just as cheap as a condo; check your skis in the front of the hotel; hit the Foggy Goggle; pack lots of extra food/drinks/snacks and keep in your room fridge; Sync your trip with an event (e.g. Toyota Trick Park) if you want Saturday nights to be more lively Overall things to improve: -Arcade is too expensive at 7 Springs and should have an endless 1-2 hour play option -Pool costs $ per use and should be included in stay -MORE lifts need to open up, esp. on back hills

My mother and I went to go stay at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort over the Memorial Weekend. It’s okay, but, we’re not going to be going back. First of all, the beds were very high, almost had to jump into bed to get into it. Definitely not made for short people. Secondly, the water pressure was really high. It almost hurt to take a shower. Was not enjoyable or relaxing. Lastly, there were no activities to keep us entertained. We spent a lot of our afternoons and evenings in the room watching television. We can do that at home. We decided to leave a day early, but if they had activities to do and decent water pressure, I think we would have stayed an extra day. Definitely not a place if you have a family with small children. This is a place that you can maybe skip.

I stayed here for the World Boardgaming Championships (WBC) last July. My room was adequate. Food is sad: pricey breakfast buffet with limited choices - scrambled eggs, soggy bacon, limp breakfast potatoes, and pastries and very limited dinner choices. The reservation system is a disaster. Last year, it was down for weeks (apparently due to the hotel being acquired). This year I attempted to book a week via their website, 800 number, and via direct calling. All three paths showed zero rooms available and I booked elsewhere for the week. After posting about this on WBC forums I found that I just need to keep calling until I got lucky and lots of rooms were still available.

Given the most recent reviews, I did not have high hopes for 7 Springs for a recent conference. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the room was one of the cleanest that I have ever stayed in. Yes, some areas could use a facelift, but is also intended to be a mountain ski lodge. If you’re looking for glitz and glamour, go to Nemacolin and be prepared to pay accordingly. If you’re looking for a low key weekend getaway, this is your place.

I normally Love & Defend this resort! Im here on a Monday night in April for a convention. The room rate was 279.00 + tax if I WAS NOT with the group! I decided last minute to stay and visit with friends and expected to stop at the pizza shop to grab food on my way to my room because at the convention, the pizza shop was Open until 2. So this is Not even 11 p.m. and its closed. The topper is , the vending machines have nothing but drinks. I have just spent 200.00 on entertaining myself & friends...$400.00 for 9 hours and there is Nothing available to eat! My point is, if you are allowing people to spend their money, provide your services! I have been here So many times and brought food with me. My mistake...dont come unprepared!

I am so disappointed in the changes the new owner made to the snow tubing. We went last year and had so much fun we knew we had to go back this year. They only had 4 lanes open and 1 ramp back up. On top of that, they are forcing you to have almost 10 feet between riders back up the hill. And waiting till all riders are done on all tracks before anyone can go. Last year we could all go down linked together (there were 6 of us). We laughed like crazy for 2 hours. Now it’s a max of 2 linked together and only one lane. There are so many rules now it takes forever to get up the hill and back down. I’m extremely disappointed in what I paid considering how few times we got up and back down. Unless I hear they have gone back to the old ways, we definitely won’t be back.

It’s a dump. Low quality with exorbitant pricing ($4 for a glass of water), terrible service. Pretty much everything is dated and busted. Water leak in the room wall? Check. Broken shower that scalds you randomly? Check. 30 minute wait for a cup of coffee at the only place that sells it in the morning? Check. Over charging? Check. Understaffed everything? Check. Moldy ceiling tiles? Check. World’s loudest hvac in the room? Check. Paper thin walls so you can hear your neighbors talking or using the bathroom? Check. Fenced off walkways and stairs that are probably dangerous but the only way to get where you need to go? Check. Don’t stay here.
