Had a really disappointing experience. Waited 50 minutes for our food, and multiple people who came in after us were served before us. We only had an hour lunch break, so by the time we received our food, we had to box it up and leave immediately. By the time we made it back to work, the food was soggy and gross. Even if we had eaten there, the food was overpriced and not that great for the quality we received. The guy was nice, and I hate writing bad reviews for small businesses, but we were really disappointed. We didn't even receive any kind of discount for our troubles. Will not be coming back.

This small local taco place is easy to drive by and miss, but you're doing yourself a disservice if you do. The owner, who runs the front of house, was delightful and the food was authentic and fresh.

The only reason I’m putting down 3 stars is because of the kind staff, and extremely clean and well kept restaurant. I ordered the Mexi Burrito and did steak and chicken (1/2 & 1/2). I said no beans extra rice. Ordered a side of queso as well. After about 20 mins I got my order and went back to work across the street. My first bite was a lot of the vegetables so I took my second bite and again it felt like I ate all vegetable. I cut the burrito open and saw 95% of it was peppers and onions. I counted 6 little pieces of chicken and steak. For $17 dollars I just couldn’t deal with it. Took it back and was refunded my entire amount. The place is spotless though and customer service was excellent. That in itself goes a long way with me. I look forward to trying them again in the future.
So we went here because it was the highest yelp recommended 1-$-restaurant in the area. Um, it was just okay...Atmosphere was similar to a street restaurant in Mexico. Service was minimal but fine. Food was just okay, but maybe it's amazing for the area, idk.I think I just felt like I didn't get a good value for my money for Mexican food. Weird, right? Maybe I'm just from a place where better Mexican food is cheaper? It wasn't crazy expensive ($40 for 2.5 including a desert). I just thought cost for quality/quantity wasn't what I was expecting.

As much as I love ?? Mexico, I'm not very brave when it comes to Mexican food. So since it was a ⛪️ Friday during Lent, I decided to try the fish tacos ?? from Mexi Taco in Charleroi. Wow, delicious! ? Light, not overly-fishy, and perfect with a little hint of lime. I also got to meet Victor, the owner, and I am so excited to visit his local establishment again soon! ?

It’s not often that when we need a larger meal for a meeting, or when family comes for dinner that we don’t order Mexi Taco. Their taco platter is to die for, and their rice I absolutely crave-and could eat everyday. My kids absolutely love everything, but believe it or not their chicken nuggets are my sons go too. They look and taste like McDonald’s and he always ask for extra rice( it is buttery, so flavorful and super fluffy) we have tried a lot and have not had a bad meal yet! The family that owns it, are just the sweetest and are very informative and want you to have an amazing meal and experience. My husband and I literally could eat the taco platter ever night and we sub the asada for the
chorizo-chicken. Extra chips and salsa and don’t forget the rice and regular churros. 🤤🤤

Honestly the absolute best Mexican food I've had in Pennsylvania.
It was so delicious. I orderes plates to go for my friend and i. We were both just sitting there like "God damn" everything we took a bite.
Now that this reminded me to leave a review I'm hungry for mexi taco again ?.
Only thing I wish was different was like fountain drinks but that's not any big enough deal to worry for.
Their salsa is amazing.
Parking: Limited parking because it's street parking but it was not difficult to get a spot at lunch.
Kid-friendliness: Colorful decor, seems family friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, I don't recall any stairs.
