Bloom Southern Kitchen

Third time there. Always consistent food and many gluten free options. Staff is great, efficient, and friendly.

Our service was very bad. I think they were understaffed that day, plus we were right behind a large party of about a dozen people, which I'm sure affected the kitchen. We had a reservation and no one was even at the reception desk until 10 minutes after our reservation time. We did not get our food until more than an hour after our reservation time, and we were starving. The staff should have thought to offer us something complimentary to tide us over given that it took us so long to get our food. That being said, all restaurants have challenges with staffing at times, so if we are in the area again, we might consider returning. The food was Southern. Our fried chicken and waffle and butternut squash salad were OK but not great, but we would consider trying Bloom again as others gave good reviews so we may have hit a bad day. We wanted a place close to Marsh Creek State Park, and Bloom was very close.

Great food and service. The menu choices have a Southern influence as the restaurant name infers. You don't get these food options in many restaurants so it's a refreshing out of the ordinary experience.

Bloom is a find. Farm to table food with a Southern twist. Was there for a business lunch but will return to test their dinner menu and bar. Appreciate that their waitstaff is experienced. Love the history of the property, which has been lightened up from its days as a historical tavern.

Excellent farm to table experience. The food is fresh and always delicious. The short rib was tender and flavorful. The apple turnover was excellent. More than enough for 2.

Update: this place does not operate smoothly. Don’t come here if you want your food in a timely manner.

Seemed pricey for the quality of the food i got. Could just be what i ordered but others at the table had similar experiences. Not itching to give it another try.

Our server Joe was great and recommended the best dishes that were delicious! We got a ton of food and everything was great. We will be back soon.

We found Bloom when our other plans didn't pan out- but I'm not mad about it, Bloom was great. Good food (the brussels sprouts 🔥!), great service (Delaney was awesome!), and the restaurant is super cute. Glad we wandered in and look forward to trying something new from the menu!

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with true Southern charm &warm hospitality, inviting aesthetics, and an atmosphere that sets the tone right away. The old fashioned, Jesus! Everything here is top tier from the attentive staff to the incredible food. I stopped in for happy hour and tried the crab cakes, deviled eggs, baked mac & cheese, and biscuits! Each dish was packed with flavor. Diana was absolutely superb, a phenomenal woman who made the experience even better. John was a great manager!

The burger I had was one of the best ever. However, service is slow and the water glasses are VERY small. Go here if you have a lot of time to spare.
