While looking up phone number for Capt. Chucky's in Chester Springs, I saw a few very bad reviews and felt compelled to share that we have consistently wonderful service and product. Their shrimp is second to none... it's the only place I will go for shrimp. Their pre-packaged fish is also very good. This is definitely a satellite location, small and cozy... I do not expect white glove service, but I do expect and receive friendly, humble service each and every time. Holidays are tough operationally on this small establishment and pickup at Christmas time can be a challenge... and frustrating. They've tried making changes this past year that fell through. They had a good plan, but it did not become a reality. While not a great experience, it's one day a year, I prepare to wait in line and I trust they are trying to make it an easier experience.

Small, intimate shop that is wall-to-wall seafood platter options. Several kinds of crab cakes, crab balls, crab dip, etc.The Smith Island, Signature and Imperial Cakes are all yummy. Love the stuffed shrimp and serving the crab balls as an appetizer during family gatherings. The staff is always helpful and pleasant to talk with. Be aware that it can get a little claustrophobic during the holiday rushes, so plan accordingly.

Excellent food, great friendly service and excellent prices and desert. I enjoyed all the essentials needed for a wonderful dinner with family. Crab cakes were delicious!

Terrible customer service. I went 5 days ago to ask about ordering shrimp for New Year’s Eve and was told by Wayne the owner that I did NOT need to preorder and just come early. I drove all the way there this morning, was there when they opened to be told they had no shrimp and I needed to preorder for New Years Eve?!! (I needed 10 shrimp). Concerning that the owner would give you false information and completely waste your time.

Love this seafood restaurant! The food is always excellent and great quality! I especially love the jumbo crab legs, yum! Took a shrimp cocktail to a holiday party and everyone raved about how delicious it was! The staff is also so friendly. What's not to love about Capt'n Chucky's!
