Life’s Patina Co. Mercantile and Cafe is a beautiful hidden gem. The venue is beautiful inside and out, with a cosy, upscaled farm house interior and a European feel. The location is beautiful, and the whole village is full of history, architecture and ambiance. The staff is warm, inviting, and simply fantastic. There is a great selection of gifts and other items for sale, offering a bit of retail therapy. The food is fantastic and outstanding. The quiche is so light and the crust is perfect. The avocado toast with marinated red onions and spiced seed/nut mix is required to try, along with all the pastries. The crostada is a favorite. SOUPS are new every week and heavenly. The seasonal menu/beverages are yummy, and the banana bread chai was exceptional. There are tasty sweet-treats and a grab n go section. It is totally worth the half hour drive, and people travel over an hour to brunch here. Highly recommended.
