“I’m a person who travels for sweets & someone told me about this place, which is like an hour and a half from where I live, but I figured I’d give it a try and let me tell you I was not disappointed in the ice cream is probably one of the best I’ve ever had it’s creamy you can taste every ingredient that is just made perfectly. I highly really recommend this place not only that I happened to lockout going on the day that they had chase and Skye from paw patrol there which was perfect for my twin. Five year olds. Service is amazing. It was really busy but the way they work there’s really no wait time. Amazing place.“

“Ordered takeout from Pomodoro’s tonight. We had a Hawaiian pizza which they subbed red sauce for white sauce, a Greek salad with chicken, a Caesar salad and of course, gelato. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh! Met the owner, Tony, and he couldn’t have been nicer! We will definitely be putting Pomodoro’s on our regular rotation for takeout.“

“I just held a 40th birthday party at Lock 29. Everything was great. The space was perfect, everyone raved about the food and cake (some people said it was the best cake they’ve ever had!), The servers were awesome, they made sure everyone had what they needed and did a great job keeping things organized and clean throughout! I would recommend parties here to any of my friends and family! Everything was exactly what I wanted!!“

“We stopped by on Saturday Night. First, Lorin was fantastic. She was friendly, and very involved. We sampled their whiskeys which are all made from local supplies. The flight consisted of a single malt, bourbon, and rye. They were great, the rye was especially nice. What really checked all the boxes was the fact they have local beers and wine available as well. Very different from most places, which have either, wine, beer or spirits. Great find and looking forward to our next visit.“

“Wow… this place is incredible. Awesome wings that are meaty and they have great flavor choices. I love the Italian herb. Pizza (try the Grandma) Sicilian and NY style are available. Great selection of food with daily specials. We ate outside which is covered by cool sails. Inside seating as well as a separate picnic table section. Dog friendly with water bowls. Pizza stands are empty crushed tomato containers. Super friendly staff Plenty of free parking and they have music on some nights.“

Even our girls request we go here on our dinner nights though their angle is more for the bread pudding dessert that is one of the best I've ever had. You really can't go wrong on the menu. “We met Cass’ wife at Shady Maple today and she was handing out sample of their BBQ sauce on chicken. Oh. My. Lord! This sauce hit my mouth and I was immediately hit with this mixture of Carolina and Memphis style sauces, then a little bit of heat that was absolutely perfect! We spent some time talking to her about their recipe and where they’re from and after about 5 minutes had a bottle in the cart. I knew about 7 seconds into the sauce hitting myself tongue that I was going to buy it but I NEEDED to know more about the folks who created it. We can’t wait to start using it, as a condiment for dipping and of course smothered on some pork. We’ve definitely found a new favorite!“

My favorite thing, however, is that they partner with local dog rescues for “Dog Days” - adoption events where people can meet available dogs. I’ve personally seen quite a few dogs find their new homes at Levante!“

A downside is cash only, and us having to split the bill between 8 people ...they should do that for their customers like every other restaurant does!“
