Nice cabin clean & remodeled, staff was nice ,will be coming back there

Toilet wouldn't touch flush in our motel room. No air conditioning. No deadbolt on our door just a rusty chain to lock the door. No one was ever at office not even to check out. Will never go back

Muddy and junk every where.. terrible ???. Left after one night

New owners and New name, but we went for a weekend and the place did not disappoint. This is more rustic and camping than staying at a hotel/motel, but we had a mini house to stay in complete with hot water, a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and stove and a private shower. The only downside is it's practically off the grid. My cellphone was used for pictures

It has new owners, who are down to earth and wonderful. It is in the middle of some renovations. But the owners still accommodate us. Can't wait to go back. There is no TV which makes it more relaxing, very tranquil. I can't say enough about the enjoyment that was way overdue. Love it.

We love the shilo inn because mama and her husband are very wonderful people we love shilo in because the kids loved it everybody loved it when we were there and I hope they stay there forever

Very peaceful and welcoming caring owners

The cabin my 3 kids and I stayed in was filthy. My smallest was crawling on the floor and got filthy dirty! There were cob webs on all the windows and dust on everything. When I confronted them about this the man was horribly rude. While his wife defended him, her husband checked the cabin and told me it was clean, yelling at me telling me cobwebs happen overnight. Horrible experience. Stay away from these dirty cabins and rude owners. I won't even mention the snide remark the woman made to my father about me. Atleast I got our money back. You don't yell at your paying guests!

We had a blast this past weekend at the Shiloh Resort. Cozy chalet with awesome owners! My kids had fun exploring the campground after swimming on the river. We all enjoyed a fire together in a quiet setting after a day of long hikes! Can’t wait to come back.

2nd time my Mum and I have stayed here in 5 years. We had the “park model”. Very peaceful environment. The cabin was clean, roomy, well stocked and cool. The beds comfy. Big porch to lounge on and watch the fire. Mama and Papa Doe and their daughter were very welcoming and helpful. Very good price for 3 days! Would absolutely recommend whether summer or fall to visit Cook Forest! 5 stars!!!

Extremely nice people, who make you feel at home! It’s up for sale right now, & I would love to see someone buy it & renovate it a little bit. My boyfriend & I got the “Honeymoon Suit” & it was so cute! We had a heart shaped jacuzzi & a sauna. Right in the middle of cooksforest! Will be staying again!
