Racist and incompetent waitress and racist manager. Will be reporting this place to the BBB and reaching out to the owner. I never expect much from the clarion community, but this place took it a step further with their racism and prejudice. Avoid at all costs
Responding to the owner's half hearted response. The issue was not the burger....the issue was the waitress lying and saying that we were rude to her when that wasn't the case. Again, your racism and disrespect will not go unnoticed. Another chance botched....

I don't usually do reviews but the food at Red River Roadhouse at lunchtime was flavorless and just sad. I ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo which arrived at our table looking like it had been sitting out awhile. Taste of the Alfredo was nonexistent, I mean nothing, even after plenty of salt. Texture of the sauce was runny and water-like and would not adhere to the pasta or the chicken. I should have recognized that a restaurant completely dead at lunchtime should be avoided.

Awesome food and atmosphere! Went with a work group for lunch and everyone enjoyed all the food. We had a huge variety of menu items. Staff was awesome and such a clean warm and fun atmosphere!! Great work guys!!
Out on business. Thought it might be a healthier option than some of the chains. Was not really, they do not have real butter, pretty carb heavy sides, salad lettuce was old, and a very overprised steak while a good flavor was very dry and overcooked.

Took forever to be seated, first off. Ignored by the staff. Place was mostly empty but were told we needed to sit at the bar (turns out they were shorthanded). I ordered a steak with baked potato and mac & cheese.
First the good: the mac & cheese was fine.
Then the rest: My "medium well" steak came out burned to a crisp. Literally burned. Like it clanked on the plate it was burned so hard. I tried to choke down a bite since I rarely send food back, but just couldn't do it. I asked the bartender to send it back and was brusquely told "well you ordered it well". Uh, no, I ordered medium well, and in any case, that's not well done, that's a hockey puck. It was sent back,and I ordered the replacement medium just in case.
In the meantime I picked at my potato, which was fine I guess.
The second steak arrived, and was closer to well done than medium and the outside was burned again. And zero seasoning. Absolutely disgusting, by a long shot the worst steak I've ever had in a restaurant.
Avoid this place. I'd rather do the nearby Burger King (except they borked my order too).

The 2 stars are for the fact that I asked for steak sauce and got none and a roll was supposed to come with the meal but I didn't receive one and I was on vacation so I didn't have anything at the hotel like you would at your home.
