There’s 2 cars ahead of me in the drive though and it takes 20 mins to get through the drive through ridiculous way too slow

Dirty and slow service, not to mention i had to walk inside to get my drive through order so their lane time wouldn't go up!

No customers ordered two sandwiches...one on a biscuit one on a croissant....not complicated...only customer....guess what? Order too complicated for workers got my order wrong...not the two sandwiches I ordered...I did get two sandwiches though...I guess that's good enough for them. How is this place still in business! Get out of clarks summit...make room for a franchise that functions correctly.

A Reliable Road Trip Stop – Burger King, South Abington Township, PA

I stopped by this Burger King while driving north toward New York, and I have to say—it was exactly what I needed at that point in the trip. If you’re looking for a place to grab a quick bite, stretch your legs, and use a clean restroom without going too far off the highway, this is a solid choice. It’s located right off the main roads, near I-81 and I-476, which makes it super convenient when you’re on the move. You don’t have to go deep into town or waste time navigating small streets—just a quick exit and you’re there.

When I pulled into the parking lot, there were a few cars but it wasn’t overly packed. Parking was easy to find, and the area felt safe and open. The exterior of the restaurant looked well-kept—not brand new, but definitely cared for. Walking in, I was happy to see the dining area was clean and organized. Tables were wiped down, floors were tidy, and it didn’t have that typical greasy fast food smell some places can have.

I was greeted at the counter within a minute. The staff weren’t super chatty, but they were polite, efficient, and got the order right. That alone is worth mentioning—I’ve had enough road trip meals go wrong to appreciate when everything is smooth. I ordered a Whopper combo and a 10-piece nugget on the side to share with my travel buddy. Everything came out hot and fresh. The burger was well put together—not sloppy—and had that classic flame-grilled BK taste. The fries were crispy, not soggy, and had just the right amount of salt. The nuggets were good too, with the familiar crunch and flavor you expect from Burger King.

The drink station was fully stocked with ice, napkins, lids, and straws available, which isn’t always the case in fast food spots these days. I sat down to eat inside and took a few minutes to relax. The seating area was surprisingly calm, with soft music playing in the background and a few other travelers eating quietly. The air conditioning was working well, which was great on a hot summer day.

One of the most important parts for me on a road trip is the restroom—and thankfully, this one was clean, stocked, and had running hot water. Big win. You’d be surprised how rare that is during long drives.

I also noticed that they had a drive-thru option, and while I didn’t use it, the line seemed to move quickly. That’s a nice option if you’re short on time or just want to eat in your car.

Prices were as expected—affordable and no surprises. They had a few deals posted on the app and inside the store as well, so it’s worth checking that out if you’re trying to save a couple of bucks. Nothing felt overpriced, and the portion sizes were generous enough to leave me full for the next leg of the trip.

Overall, this Burger King really delivers on what it’s meant to be: a clean, convenient, fast, and familiar place to eat on the road. It’s not fancy or trendy, but that’s not what you’re looking for when you’re just trying to make it through a long highway drive. What it does offer is comfort, consistency, and a short break from the car that actually feels like a breather—not a hassle.

Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. But would I stop here again next time I’m passing through? Absolutely. And I’d recommend it to anyone driving through the area who just needs a reliable, no-drama stop for a quick meal, a clean restroom, and a bit of peace before heading back out on the road.

Was running an errand for my family. After I've paid for the food, which I had just ordered. I was told to pull forward for my food. I was waiting about 10 minutes for the food, which is nonsense. When I checked the bag, there was an entire meal missing that had been ordered. I pulled around and the employee gave me a look, when I asked for the meal they have missed. It was around 4 minutes until the food was done. I checked to make sure everything was there again, which it was. Later back at my home, the fries were extremely salty, as I had seen globs of salt on them. It was like they didn't bother cleaning up a mess they made. Another thing the food was definitely not fresh when received. This is one of the worst burger kings around the area. Will NOT be coming HERE again. 👎

Why did I just witness an employee get scolded for drinking water, probably my favorite Burger King around but that is just ridiculous. Let your employees drink water, no one cares!

I stopped at 3:45 to get lunch while I am working. I went in ordered 4 piece chicken fries sm. fry, med. Cola. The order came up and a blonde with a ponytail was standing there and I asked for my order that was in front of her and she told me she was busy. I pointed out that she was standing, and there was no one in the restaurant and 2 cars in the drive thru. What wrong with this Burger King? The blonde walked away from me to get the manager who was short black hair and glasses. I told him the situation and he gave me my food in a sec. No apologies. I am a Colts driver.

Just went through the drive through was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my food, the guy brought out my food but i was not given my drinks then I was only brought two when I had ordered 3 so the guy had to go back,

then i hadn’t notice until after i pulled away and was half way home that I was not even given my fries that I had ordered I ordered 3 meals paid $50 and some change.

I normally don’t complain because I know we all make mistakes but $50 dollars and to get this kind of service is just crazy.
