Colarusso's Cafe offers a mixed experience, with food comparable to chain restaurants but at a higher price. Credit card fees add to the cost. The server was satisfactory, and the atmosphere is a bit dated. However, customers praise the professional hospitality and fresh, authentic Italian food. Dishes like chicken Florentine and meatballs are highlights, with eggplant parmesan also receiving attention for its flavor, though some suggest a little less salt. Catering services are available for special events, demonstrated by the recent successful meal for the North Pocono Varsity Football Team, featuring homemade roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and more. Overall, Colarusso's Cafe is a place that offers consistently great food and is worth a visit for its delicious offerings.
